Chapter 13 Bros before hoes

There was knocking on the bedroom door. “Go away I am not ready to talk to anyone, just leave me alone” I called back. I was so angry with that woman. Sparks begin to crackle across my fingers and hand. What was that? “Um, Perun are you there?” I asked the air. More sparks flowed from my hands as lighting lite up the sky outside and there was a rumble that shock the house. There was more knocking on the door “please Leizi, please, talk to me. Don’t shut me out” I could hear Cody cry out. “Cody please, just give me a minute. I need a minute to myself right now” I plead as more sparks come out of my hands and up my arms. I can feel the electricity run up and down across my body. What is happening to me! Now I am angry and terrified. The electricity is building, I can feel it building up inside of me wanting to get out.  

              Cody came into the room took one look at me and quickly shut the door behind him. “What is happening to you sis” Cody asked in a low voice. “Please, please stay back from me I don’t want to hurt you, please” I begged of him. I turned to the window Perun I need you. I don’t know if I can use his current name so I call out “THOR, please I need you, if you can’t come to me then please send me some aid”. Cody looks even more concerned as he watches the electricity start to burn at my cloths and my feet start to burn the rug in his room “Leizi, what’s happening to you?”. I remain looking out the open window “I lost my temper and gave into my anger and now I don’t know had to stop this” I answer him. “Did I do this to you” Cody asks as tears start to fall down his face. I shake my head, but before I could say anything I could feel two hands grab my arms and push me back until I am standing on the tiles of the ensuite. “Thor is that you?” I ask. “No, my lady, but he is on his way to you now.” I hear a gentle male voice in my head “but for now I need you to take some big deep breaths. Slowly in and out now.” “Ok” I reply. Cody looks at me confused “what just happened”. “We are not alone right now” I inform him while I try to concentrate on my breathing. Cody’s eyes go wide.

              I can feel the pressure from the electricity build up and wrap around my limbs going in the direction of the strangers’ hands wrapped around my forearms. “You need to get your friend to stand clear as I am going to help you release the energy and aim it out the window”. “Cody, I need you to stand clear NOW and close your eyes, get on the floor and stay there NOW” I call out. And with that I concentrated on releasing the energy though my arms to relinquish control to the one giving me aid. Cody dropped to the floor and rolled over to the nearest wall closing his eyes as he did. “Now my lady let go, let go of the anger, of the pain, trust me to guide you.” And with that I let go of everything that I was holding onto. The electricity built up and went through me into the aid and stretched out across the room and out the window where it went up into the sky and down into the ground. From outside the house, it looked like a lighting bolt had struck just outside the house and maybe went through the window. After the blinding light and deafening sound everything went quiet and dark. The power went off all across the neighbourhood as the surge was too great.

              I collapsed onto the cold ground before I felt the air cool down my overheated body as I was lifted as though I was being placed into someone’s lap. “I am here now Leizi. You are safe now. Everything will be ok.” “Thor?” I responded, “is that you?” I whisper. “I thought that I told you to call me Perun, little Leizi.” “My brother is here, he can hear my words my lord. Thor the young man in the next room is Cody my beloved brother. I am unsure how much I am allowed to tell him. So much has happen since you left me” I informed Perun. “I understand. I will stay by your side if you need me. And will only interfere if I feel that you are about to say something that should remain untold or might be incorrect. Why do you use Thor as my name for your brother?” Perun spoke gently to me as he gently placed me back onto the ground. I could still feel him next to me. “Because Thor is a name he can identify, I am too tied to do more” I whisper to Perun. “I understand”.

              The door to the bedroom opened suddenly as Keith came in “is everyone ok? I think that lightening just hit right outside. It didn’t come in or hit the building, did it?” Cody answered him “No it was just really close to the house, can you go to the front door and look out and see if the grass is on fire? We’re still a bit blinded in here?” “Ok, good idea” and with that Keith ran to the front door to look outside. “Leizi, are you ok in there?” enquired Cody. “Yes” I responded. “Can we talk?” Cody asked. “Sure, but just the two of us I don’t want the others in here just in case I, I” mumbling I respond. “Cody, Leizi, are you both ok in there?” Cassy came to the door carrying a lite candle. Cody got up and went to her “yes we are” Cody removed the candle from her hand and placed it on the floor “Snowy can you give us some privacy? Leizi and I really need to talk” he said as he gave her big tight hug. “Sure love, I’ll be out here when you are ready, ok. I am so sorry for what Astra did, I really am” Cassy hugged him back before heading back to the kitchen which was lit up with many candles. “No fire out there, seems the ground was to wet. But man, there’s a big scorch mark on the ground” informed Keith before heading towards the kitchen to keep Cassy company.    

              Cody shut his bedroom door once again, grabbed the candle and come the lean against the edge of the door frame to the ensuite where he slowly lowered himself onto the ground. “Do you hate me?” inquired Cody. His words caught me off guard. “What! Why would I ever hate you?” I responded in shock. “Because I’m bisexual” mumbled Cody. I was shocked why would he ever think that. I hurriedly responded “No, never! Cody believe me when I say this, there is nothing to hate you for. So, what if your bisexual. That’s your business. You can’t help what you are nor who you like or what your attracted to. I would be the last person to judge someone on that, trust me.” Cody looks at me confused with tears in his eyes “then why did you get so angry, why did you run off in here and close me out?”. “Oh Cody. I wasn’t angry with you. I was angry with that mega b***h of a sub-human. When you weren’t here, she came out of the back room screaming s**t at me and refused to believe that I hadn’t slept with you even after I told her I was your sister, she just didn’t believe anything I said, and she tried to hit me. Then this horrid creature outed you. No one has the right to do that to someone else. She knew dam well that I didn’t know about you and Jake. And who is she to judge anyone else” I was starting to get angry again just from talking about that, that ahh, I started to crackle again with electricity. “Calm yourself Leizi, this person you are talking about is not worth your energy”. I take a deep breath to calm myself, I can feel Perun pulling the excess electricity from me, calming me. “Thanks Thor” I breath out.

              “What’s happening to you little sis” Cody asks in concern. “Let me explain” I responded to Cody. This is so not going to be easy.
