His View
[One of the water wisps came up to Indra looking stressed and upset. “My lord there is something that I must tell you” cried out the wisp. “Go ahead little friend, please tell me what has upset you so” asked Indra. “My lord Tialoc came to the waters off the coast and pushed a rather large boulder off the land shelf that it was sitting on. The ground rumbled for a great distance and caused some destruction” informed the water wisp. “That sounds like my brother, were any of our people hurt? What has made to so upset?” enquired Indra as he was concerned for the little creatures distressed state. “My lord asked the wind sprites to watch over and protect a human girl. And she was almost hurt by fulling metal. My friends did everything they could to protect her, but a few of them got hurt by the metal” cried the water wisp. Indra was shocked, he had sent his brother off in the opposite direction of Leizi. “Is the human girl hurt?” asked Indra. “No, my lord, but two of my friends were” continued to cry the wisp. Indra was angry as his brother was still intent on causing harm on Leizi even though he had agreed to leave the matter in Indra’s hands. And in doing so had caused harm to befall two of his trusted servants.
Indra wiped himself up I into a storm calling his servants to his aid. “Are the injured being cared for?” he commanded of the water wisp. The little creature nodded. “Everyone I have an important task that requires my full attention, continue with the planned weather patterns for now, my person guard come with me, my soldiers should prepare themselves for war and be ready when I call, my spies I need you to watch my siblings especially Tialoc as he has lied to me and caused harm to two of us.” Indra’s voice rang out in the heavens. Indra’s people sent up cheers and bolts of lighting like a sheet across the sky. Indra wasted no time heading towards Leizi’s location.]
Leizi’s View
Once I was away from other humans, I stopped to check my bags once again whispering “is everyone ok, I hope that none of you were hurt back there, but I can’t see any of you to give any aid if someone was hurt. It’s all my fault, I just know it. I angered Seb and he controls aspects for the earth he was probably behind that destruction, I am so sorry”. I can feel tears well up in my eyes, my hands are shaking as the truth of how much danger I am in begins to hit me. My legs are shaking, and I drop onto the ground hugging my backpack for support. My mind is racing. I can normally maintain my composure in front of others when things go wrong. I do what is needed to be done then afterwards it all hits me. I almost got hit by falling scaffold! The creatures sent to watch over me probably saved me from injury. Even though I can’t see them nor feel them directly I fear that they might have gotten hurt, and I was unable to give them aid. What else is Seb going to do to me? Can Perun and his followers keep me safe? Should they?
The wind picks up and blows dust and rubbish into the air and I start to sneeze. Reaching into my pocket for a tissue I feel something round. After blowing my nose I reach back into my pocket and pull out some coins, there is $5.85. Where did that come from? Oh, I remember that old man at the bus stop gave me the change from the ticket. It’s not much but I might be able to buy something to eat or drink. Maybe if I had something in my system, I would be able to think better. I look around and see some cafes and a 7/11 store across the street, so I pick myself up and head over. Most of the cafes have their menu’s in the windows and the food costs way to much, so I head inside the 7/11 store. I check the prices of everything and the special deals and even though the sandwiches look great for $5 I need to get the most amount of food for my little money as I can. I grab a $1 cup and stare at the monster coffee machine but it’s not as hard to use as it looks and soon I have a latte with tonnes of chocolate powder on top, I grab the largest muffin on the shelf a orange and poppyseed and make my way up to the counter and grab a banana and an apple. “Would you like one of our deals” the man asks from behind the counter as he points to same candy and other items with discount stickers on them. “No thanks, just these unless you have something for 85 cents” I reply. The man scans and puts my food into a paper bag “grab yourself another apple as they are a bit small.” As I turn to grab another apple, I see him put some other items into my bag. I pay the man, grab my bag and coffee, and say “thank you” before leaving the store.
I continue to head in the direction of the construction site that my brother is supposed to be working. It appears to be quite some distance. I sip on my drink as I walk and eat the muffin first placing tiny crumb bits on tree planters as I pass whispering “that’s for any of you who want some too.” The sky is becoming darker as the day progresses and soon enough you would think that it was night even though it was only 2pm. I could see an increasing number of construction workers heading home. I got out the map and sat at a bench to work out where I was compared to where I needed to be. I ate the banana while I sat. If there was a storm coming, then construction sites would close early for safety reasons I surmised. If my brother was going home which way, would he go? I found 2 train stations near where the site was. How am I meant to know which station he will go to, I fritted? There was a station between the tennis courts and the accommodation being built and one on the other side of the accommodation site. It’s a long way to walk in either case. A woman who had been standing outside the building next to me having a smoke came over to me “you lost”. “Yes, a little I was wondering which of these 2 train stations was the better one” I answered her while pointing at the map. She looked at the map and pointed to the one near the tennis courts “that one is the better choose as all trains going through stop there for the tennis courts there” she pointed “and the cricket oval there” she pointed at the green patch opposite the tennis courts “that’s where all the big matches happen, but there is a closer station around the corner here” she pointed to a spot in the wrong direction to where I wanted to go. I said, “thank you for the help” and picked up my bags and headed to the tennis courts.
