Chapter 11

Jackson's P.O.V.:

That woman is gonna be death of me!

We are having a stare down after she slapped me and altbough I should be pissed I'm definitiley not. Considering I got a quick kiss before, it was totally worth it!

Well, since she said I need to work for it, I might as well get busy then..

I pick her up and she starts kicking and screaming but I can smell her arousal starting from the kiss. Maybe I am a little rough around the edges but now that her friend is all set, I need her attention on me for a change .

God, she has made me so needy! Already! Up until now I was no-attachments kind of guy and now I wanna be glued on this woman!

I take her to my room and lock the door. I put her down and she tries to slap me but I stop her hand. She looks at me in awe of the speed of my reflexes. She then tries to kick me but I stop that too.

" How are you able to do that, all of a sudden?!" She asks amazed.

" I was able to do that all along darling." I say and I go sit on the bed.

She goes and sits on the couch accross me.

" And why didn't you?" she asks smirking.

" Well, the first time you caught me by surprise because it was right after I first saw you." I say and she looks at me confused.

" Your scent, and you in general actually, had just turned my mind into pulp " I admit to her and she chuckles.

" The rest was just to avoid freaking you out. I would rather take a beating than have you getting another panick attack."

She looks at me with curiosity.

" My scent?" She asks.

" Every mate has a distinct scent that the other half can pick up on. Yours is rosemary and roses." I explain to her and she nods in understanding.

" I do not know if I have one that you can pick up because you are human but..." I start but she interrupts me

"Citrus... You do have one and it is citrus. I have been smelling it ever since I saw you and the only time I did not today was when I was alone in the room with Nefeli.."

I cannot help but feel encouraged by her words. I trust the bond but she is human and I was not sure if she could feel it, too, as much as I did.

Until now...

"Can I sit next to you?" I ask. I wanna be closer to her, I can't help myself. I must sound so clingy right know!

"No, you may not" she says in a serious tone.

Shit! I must have f****d it up!

She then stands up and starts walking towards me.

What did I manage to d now to piss her off?!

" Do not tell me you are gonna slap me again woman!"

I say exasperated but she looks at me with a tender smile. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

" You are cute when you are pouting." she says and takes a seat on my lap.

Now thats something unexpected!

I put my arms around her and we sit like this for a while in comfortable silence.

" Jackson, is it common for a werewolf to be mated to a human?" She asks nervously looking at her hands.

" Not really but it happens" I tell her and she looks up at me.

" Would you prefer to be mated to a werewolf? Be honest" she says.

I can feel her insecurity.

" I would not change a thing about you cause otherwise you would not be perfect for me, Layla. And I am not just saying that for the sake of it."

As soon as I say that, she grabs me from the back of my neck and pulls me in a for a kiss. She takes control and I do not mind it one bit. As our lips are moving in unison she bites my lip and I gladly give her access. I feel her tongue in my mouth and I let out a low growl. She teuly is magnificent! I scoop her up and put her on the bed.

When I leave her down, I step back and look at her. She trully is perfect for me.

I'm about to dive in for more but Alex mind links me to go to the kitchen. s**t.

" f**k mee!" I say and roll my eyes annoyed.

" Excuse you mister" Layla says pissed.

" No, baby! It was meant towards you" I tell her

" Alpha said to go to the kitchen"

I lean in to help her up and give her a quick kiss to which she blushes.

" Are we blushing, love?" I ask chuckling and she hides her face in my chest.

" We started, I guess... " she says and starts laughing. " Who is Alpha by the way?" she asks curious.

" To answer your question Alpha is the pack leader, in our case, Alex and he just told me in my mindlink to meet in the kitchen. Werewolves of the same pack can communicate with their minds." I explain and she looks at me casually nodding in understanding.

Not gonna lie, I was expecting more of a reaction.

" You seem completely unimpressed with this recent info. How come?" I ask curious.

" Considering everything else I learned today, this is a minor detail. The standards have changed, ya know! " she tells me with a wink.

And with that we start walking to the kitchen.

Nefeli P.O.V.:

" So let's talk about David" I say and look at Alex.

We have been sitting in his bedroom for a while both dreading the conversation that would burst our bubble.

As I'm about to continue we are interrupted by my stomach which is growling. Alex starts laughing and I wanna die from embarassment!

" I'm sorry! It is almost noon and I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday! " I say and hide my face with my hands.

Alex removes my hands and gives me a kiss.

" I'm sorry for not taking care of you properly, princess. Lets call the other two and my dad so we can all talk in the kitchen."

"Your Dad?!?!?" I ask nervous already.

" He is safe ! Don't worry, baby" he tells me reassuringly.

" I'm not concerned he is a werewolf, Alex! I' m nervous because he is your dad and he is meeting me for the first time!" I admit and he starts laughing.

" Stop laughing!" I tell him annoyed.

" I am sorry, baby" he says " I am sure he is gonna love you!"

He helps me up and for the first time I realise I am not wearing my own clothes! He is about to take a step but I stop him.

" Alex,where are my clothes, whose clothes are these and who saw me naked?????" I say baffled, nervous and angry at the same time!

" Well, in the same order, your clothes were destroyed when you shifted, these are my clothes and, in all honesty, the peole that saw you naked are me , Jackson, a healer and my dad, but only for a brief second."

I start freaking out! A bunch of people have seen me naked including HIS FATHER!!!

" Baby,relax! the moment you shifted back you were faced down and I covered you straight away! Nobody saw anything, I' m sure! I brought you here myself and dressed you with my clothes straight away! I promise!" He tries to reassure me and gives me a hug calming me down.

He truly is wonderful! He protected me when he could easily have taken advantage of me and I do not take that lightly.

" I guess what's done is done. Let's go. " I say and take his hand in mine .

He smiles to me and is about to open the door but I stop him and he looks down at me baffled.

" Thank you, Alex " I say sincerely looking into his eyes.

" You saved and me and took care fo me without even knowing me. Even before you recognised me as your mate" I say and he is about to tell me something but I do not wait.

I pull him close and kiss him . A tender kiss to show him how thankflul I am and how good I feel to have him.

But the more we kiss the more I want him. All of him.

I could feel his lips on mine, forever and nonstop. I can feel him and his need for me is as big as mine. He holds me tight and I can feel every inch of his body. I can feel his tongue on my lips and open my mouth. He deepens the kiss and his hands start moving down my back. The moment he grabs my ass I jumb and put my legs around his waist. He starts walking towards the bed but midway he stops and puts me down.

I look up and his eyes are void for a split second before he looks at me and smiles.

" Arghh!! Now, of all times!! Sorry baby, we have to go to the kitchen, the rest are there" he says annoyed from the interruption and I totally share the feeling!

" What happened before?" I ask wanting to know why he looked like he was in a trance.

" The best make out session of my life and it got interrupted by my father's voice in mindlink... If that is not messed up, I don't know what is!" He says and I start laughing.

" So you guys can talk with eachother in your heads ??"

I ask amazed and we start walking towards the kitchen.

" You will be able to as well when you become my luna and part of the pack." he tells me and immediately stops walking.

" do you know what a luna is Nefeli? " he asks right before we enter the kitchen.

" Yeah.. Sky, my wolf, told me right after you called her that outside. And proceeded to explain all the ranks as well . I told you she is chatty!" I say and he chuckles bit I can tell he looks incomfortable like he wants to ask something but does not know how.

" The only thing she did not explain to me in advance is mates. She told me you should do that...." I say and he looks down at me lovingly.

" Alex, I will be your luna if that whats your trying to ask me, baby" I say and he scoops me up and gives me a kiss. Making him happy is my new favourite thing. I feel so loved with him and I want to make him feel thay as well!

" Cut it out and come inside lovebirds!!!" I hear Jackson say and we both start giggling.

Alex puts me down and we go into the kitchen.
