The walk
"Go on Jess, I'll come!" said Kevin slowing his pace while gluing his eyes to his phone.
It was their honeymoon night. Jessica expected Kevin to be more attentive to her than his phone. At least on this special day! Instead, he asked her to get going for dinner while he immersed himself in his phone and texted and texted while following her.
The innate craving Jessica had for nature was taking her soul away. The scenery was lovely with coconut trees, lush green grass, and warm tropical weather. She got the opportunity to explore the beauty of the surrounding.
She was hyped with what mother nature is capable of doing. She took out her camera to capture some shots. Jessica always loved capturing the beauty of nature in her camera, and this scenery was entirely unavoidable. The sun was sinking to the ground like a giant red ball to the darkened pasture. Silhouettes of birds were returning in flocks to their nests against the crimson sky.
The night is imminent. Her thoughts were floating about the night that is yet to come. 'What will happen tonight? Will Kev love the lingerie I got? ', she thought to herself. 'Of course, he will,' she reassured herself in her mind.
She had been with him many times before, but the feeling that she is his wife now made her have a different type of craving for him.
She found herself being wrapped by Kevin’s strong arms at that moment and felt him kiss her head.
Despite his obsession with the phone, he is a lovely guy. He was good in bed, of course. Not only that, but overall, he was what she desired. Strong, handsome, tall, with a straightforward attitude. He hates deception and lies, and he values trust. His loyalty was what kept the relationship moving as they were physically apart for a major potion of their relationship due to their work and education commitments. She trusted him more than her own soul. Trust is the core to any relationship. His genuine nature bolstered his masculinity.
