I am so overjoyed that my theory worked. I still cannot believe I shifted. Skye is amazing. The process hurt like hell, but it was worth it. My vision improved as did my hearing and the scents became stronger. I can’t help but wonder if my dad will gain a wolf as well. The chances are high for it to happen. After all, I had gotten the wolf gene from Dad and Mom. I can’t help that, because of it, they could be true mates that happened to have found each other. Either way, I am glad they did, because I wouldn’t be here and neither would Jane. And I am happy with how my life is turning out.
The look on Drake’s face when he looked at me in my wolf form was priceless. I will never forget the look of awe and love in his eyes.
