We went into the room and there were needles and other things for the procedure.
“Luna, if you will?” The doctor pointed to a bed and Lari went and sat down on it. “Alpha, if you would hold her hand, it will make the partial transition easier.” I walked over and sat in a chair and took her hand in mine. “I am going to administer a solution that will help ease the pain as you shift.”
“Just do it. I am ready.” Lari says, closing her eyes and squeezing my hand as the doctor administered the solution into her arm.
“What is in the solution, doctor? Skye says it is more than what you said,” Lari says as she begins to breathe heavily.
“It is to help with the partial shift.”
“I feel strange.” She gasps, “My bones feel as if they are breaking.”
