‘Boss, what do you intend to do? She told me last night, that tomorrow is when they leave on their trip.’ Lucas mind-linked me.
‘I don’t trust that guy. I cannot help but have the feeling he is up to something.’ I begin, ‘And stop with the boss talk. We have been friends since we were kids.’
He laughed, ‘Ok. Ok. Still, do you have a plan?’
‘You know me. Of course, I do. I intend to follow them. I will also be bringing you and Colby with me in case there are problems.’
‘I am ready when you are, Boss.’
I growl in the link, and he laughs. ‘I will speak to Colby and have him prepared.’ Then I ended the link.
