"Elena! Wait!" someone suddenly shouted. I turned my head and saw Julian walking towards me on the sidewalk. I was close to the SUV and my bodyguard had just stepped out of the car. When he saw Julian closing up on me, he immediately stepped in between us and looked down at Julian.
Julian wasn't sure what to say when he saw the tall man look down at him. It was very satisfying to see him cower and I had to force myself to not smile. Seeing him humiliated is priceless.
But Julian is no danger, not when I have my bodyguard, and I should hear what he has to say. We're never seeing each other after all. There will be no dinner or sleepover at his house.
"It's okay, I want to speak with him." I said and gave Jake, my bodyguard, a calm glance. He nodded shortly and took a step aside,
