The right side of my head was bleeding profoundly. The thick red consistency half blinded me as well when it reached my eyes, making my eyelashes glue together. As if that wasn't enough, it felt like my head had exploded into a million pieces. And I didn't even dare to breathe as I pressed myself against the tall wardrobe. My body was aching in places it never had ached before, and that made it extremely difficult to stand on my own two feet. To make matters even worse, my left ankle was probably sprained.
