Chapter 10
Craig decided it was time for Kevan to meet some of his friends—not that he had much choice as it turned out. He’d only seen most of them two or three times, if that, since Scott’s disappearance, because being with them had only served to remind him of Scott, as they always wanted to know if he’d heard from him. One by one, they’d drifted away, except for the occasional text asking if he was up for going to a club or catching a movie—which he’d declined, putting the blame on working too hard.
Then, on the Friday after they’d taken the vampire tour, Craig and Kevan had run into Dave as they were about to go into a restaurant on Magazine St. to eat dinner.
