As soon as they walked into Dave’s back yard, all of Craig’s friends surrounded him. They greeted him as if it had been years, not a few months, since they’d seen him last. Janie was especially enthusiastic, hugging him hard, as she told him in no uncertain terms it hadn’t better be so long before she saw him again.
