“Why hmmm. I love it cuz, it matches your skin and you, don't you think so".
Shaking her head no.
“No i-i hate i-it, l-let go of m-me. P-please".
“Now do you think for a second, I would let you go. We have things to talk about".
He let her go, went around to sit on his chair. He was gonna say something to her, he thought she was gonna stay still but he guessed wrong. Because she was running towards the door.
“Run out of that door and you wouldn't want to know what happens next".
“W-what do you mean by t-that"?
"My sweet little flower wants to know doesn't she". ( smirking at her )
“S-Stop calling m-me that". ( on the verge of crying )
“Then, come back to where you were standing".
“N-no, I'll stay h-here".
“Just come here".
“N-no".
“Come here"
Shaking her head ....“N-no"...
Getting frustrated, he said.
“SIGH....you know If you want to play that game, then I'll gladly play with you" ( this time he has an evil smirk one that makes you freeze )
Walking towards her again with slow predator steps and look cold at her. On the other hand, An li is looking everywhere to find an escape route. Due to her disappointment she can't find a place to run to. She decided to run to the couch on the other side, to have distances between them.
He already saw her moving towards the couch, but she stop knowing that he's following her. Shaking because she doesn't like how he's following her like that.
“W-why are you f-following me".
“Because my little porcelain wife, decides to escape from me. Why is that?".
Crying from where she is. “I-i hate you. S-stop calling me t-that... Sobbing".
“Then come here".
Shaking her head no.
Chen Wu, who is getting really frustrated. Decided to just get to the point where he need her to agree to the contract. He doesn't normally force people, but in his situation now he has to. His parents is getting more impatient each day, and on the other hand Chen wu is getting more irritated because they keep calling him about it.
“Now, the contract are you gonna sign it or not"?
“No. I-i won't ever be your wife, can I just go back to work now please".
Looking at her again, decided how he wants her to agree to the contract. He told An li to go back to work, but before he tells her to leave he said.
“You are going to love my surprises ,smirking"
“What a-are you even t-talking about"?
“You'll see! once you do, you know where to find me don't you? Now get out! I have work and there's work for you on my desk".
( is he insane or did fall down somewhere and hit his head) “ ( nodding ) Y-yes sir".
Xun Wu POV:
I feel bad for doing this to Ms. An li, but it's for my boss and if I don't obey he will fire me for not obeying his orders as told. So if lying is what I have to do for my boss then I am willing to do it. I have been working for my boss since the day he took over the company from his father. He's been working and working non stop, and if he keeps on doing this he'll tire himself out no guarantee.
And if he is to marry someone like Ms. An li, then I hope she can change him. He has turned cold ever since, he and his ex-girlfriend broke up. And to tell you the truth, he would sometimes go to the clubs one the he and his childhood friend and another friend secretly own would go to. Women's there would seduce him and his friends, just to get them into their beds for money.
He is the type who is willing. Just for pleasure... SIGH.... and for me to go there to pick him up after he's done with his fun. It's weird, I don't usually go to clubs but I have to stand by to make sure no harm way comes to my boss at any cost. I too have a secret, but that'll come later.
So here I am with extra information about Ms. An li, I too wonder why Ms. An li acts like that. And to my surprise there's not much about it, exactly the same info I had given to my boss the first time he told me to look up. Delivering this info again isn't much of help, since he already knows.
But what he doesn't know is that she did actually dated someone back then.
There's just not much information about who it is, no name of that person. There's only way to find out more and that is to ask her. It also listed her friends.
knocking on his door he answered right away.
“Who is it?".
“It's Xun wu sir"
“Come in".
Going inside he handed Chen Wu the information.
"Sir, it's Ms. An li info that you wanted".
Grabbing it from his PA hand he opened it and look it though. But crease his eyebrows together, looking up at his PA wondering why he just giving him the same info.
“Wondering the same thing too sir, there's one thing though".
“And that is"?
“Flip it to the side".
Flipping to the other side as his PA told him too. Smirking at the new info he got, he ask.
“Who is the guy that she dated"?
“Well, I tried every thing I know how to, I even ask our people from every other country to look also. But we came to a dead end, there is one other way you can get it from. Already know the answer to that.
“Her".
“Yes".
Getting up from his chair looking out. He saw someone very interesting that came in very early, smirking at her for thinking she can avoid him. She also doesn't know that he has a camera out by his door, it's a small camera so you wouldn't notice it, has audio too so he can hear everything. Telling his PA.
“Xun wu, I want you to lie to An li that I'm not in my office today, tell her that I have to meet a person at another company".
( He wants me to What! ) Lie to Ms .An li about him not being in his office. Knowing that he can't disobey him he said yes.
“Yes, sir" ( sorry for this Ms. An li )
( time skip )
Inside her office, she's working on the pile of documents she took from Chen wu when they had their encounter. Ring..... ring... ring. She got scared from the ring, all she's thinking about is what he said before she left. Thought that it was her office phone; but it wasn't it's her cellphone. She answered.
“Hello?"
“An li it's Ling ling, my boss just fired me".
“W-what do you m-mean by that"?
“Well the owner of this restaurant decided that he don't need too much worker. I don't get it we are always busy and who is the owner"?
( Could it be him, but it couldn't be right ) An li mind
Getting another call, she told Ling ling to hold on for a second.
“Ling ling hold on, I have another call"
“Ok"
“Hello?"
“Hello An li, it's me Mei".
( Please don't tell me that; something happened too ) “Mei, what happened? Did you hear anything from Ling ling?"
“Yes I did, she called me right away and then you. Oh! I got kicked out of college and my job I don't know what I did".
“What!!!, you can't possibly joking around are you?"
“I"m not, there's people here they look scary and you don't want to know".
“But... du...du...du.
Checking her cellphone and she got another call. Telling her friends that she call back later.
“Hello! mom what's wrong?"
“We have some strange people here telling us that their boss is interested in buying off this land. He want us to pack up and leave this week. We don't have enough for motel or any other place to go.
“You and dad can come stay with me for a couple of weeks and until I figure out what's going on".
“We can't just leave, plus we have precious things in this house".
“Only until I figure out what happened to your house, mom".
“I know that, but it's so far".
“I'll come by once I'm done with work. Oh! who's their boss that is buying the land?"
“They wouldn't say his name but all I got was ‘Wei' only, and a Zhao guy came here saying that his boss couldn't come due to having a busy schedule at the moment, he wouldn't say his name so that's all I got".
( shock, An li mind ) Wei and Zhao! no it couldn't be, could it. H-he wouldn't do that getting nervous. she stand up pacing around, she got to get the name from Ling ling and Mei too so she told her mom.
“Mom, I got to go but I'll call again making sure it's a mistake; ok bye".
Have to get the names from Ling ling and Mei, she call them on group chat.
“ ‘Hello!'/‘Hello!’ "
“Hello! Mei, Ling ling"
Mei said “An li, thought you said you were gonna call back later?"
“I was! but something happened".
Ling ling answer. “Like what?"
“M-my parents house. the other house's and land is being bought"
Both. “W- WHAT! WHEN? HOW? and WHO?"
“Just now. they said that their boss is interested in the land. And the 'who' part worries me the most. I-It's some guy name ‘Wei', that's all I got when I asked my mom. But it got me wondering if it's him."
Ling ling said. “Holy Sh*t", but it can be some other guy though couldn't it. I mean think about there's so many other guys out there has that name.
“It's true An li, it's just what Ling ling said".
“I know! but the other guy that is there now, his name bothers me too".
Both. “Who? An li".
“Some guy name ‘Zhao'. And if I put the two together. No, No it c-can't be."
