Chapter 11- Making her Agreed part. 1

An li Pov:

Finally at my apartment, still shaking from the experience earlier. It was something that I thought he wouldn't do to his employees or should I employee. I don't know if he has done it to anyone else.

But this isn't right for what he did to me. He brought something back that I never wanted to remember at all. I purposely came here to start fresh and leave everything back then behind me.

Here I am sitting on my bed with knees up to my chest sobbing. Just until I can get myself to calm down.

Have my phone on me just in case Ling ling call me. I inform her about what happened and I wanted her to come to my apartment so we can talk bout it.

Feeling drained out by crying out so much. Having no more strength left in me I closed my eyes and let sleep take over.

30 minutes later An li woke up screaming AHHHHHH!!!! its that nightmare again the one I have been, having since i left my parents place. And now it just brought new fresh tears again.

Ring.....ring....ring... it's her cellphone it scared her. looking at the caller i.d it's Ling ling.

“H-hello!"

“You know An li, I have been out here for almost an hour now"

“S-sorry! I fell a-asleep" ( sobbing ) i-ill come open the door.

Getting up from the bed she went down to open the door for Ling ling. When Ling ling saw her friend in tears and her eyes hold something that she know what it was. Giving her friend a hug knowing she needs someone with her.

“What happened"?

“L-let's call Mei, so she know's too."

“Oh yeah! I already told her about the problem from yesterday too".

Both went up to An li's room to call their other friend Mei. Who reside in Paris now, to further her studies in opening her own little pastries shop one day.

Calling their friend on An li laptop, now waiting for her to pick up. An li who is sitting curling up with her blanket and also in tears couldn't keep calm after that dream.

Finally picking up..... “Hey girls" what's up". An li what's wrong with you? Did something happen? “Ling ling what happened to An li".

“I don't know Mei"? “I just got here, she wouldn't tell me what happened. she wanted call you too and so here you are".

Both Ling ling and Mei say at the same time. “Tell us what happened to you. Just take your time, there's no rush".

“I-i.... wh-what h-happend.... ( sob ) .....-w-was..... ( shaking ) .... was...... h-he.... ( full on sob ).... h-he kissed me..... ( sob even harder)".

Mei and Ling ling looked at each. Feeling like they wished they can take away their friend pain and nightmares away. The only thing they could do is talk to her by telling her that nothing will happen to her again but they were wrong.

Mei ask An li. “Who is he An li". It's not that person is it, if it is I am taking the first flight back home.

“N-no..... ( shaking her head no )..... i-it's our president a-at work..... ( crying more )..... he call m-me those n-names.... I hate him, I HATE THOSE names. I HATE HIM SO MUCH..... ( now crying inside her blanket that is wrapping around her )."

Ling ling, who was sitting next An-li moved closer to her. Hugging her, telling her to calm down if she doesn't want to end up in the clinic again.

But she couldn't, she just couldn't hold it anymore so she just kept on crying. Once she thinks that she let everything out, An li finally told them everything.

To their shock and worried face they know that their friend is going to have more then just a nightmare. Mei told Ling ling.

“Ling ling! I think you need to stay with An li for the night".

“I know, for damn sure something is going to happen to her and when I am done with my studies over here we can catch up. So until then keep an eye on An li, and you too make sure you aren't going to end up like before".

“An li, it's not healthy for you to keep crying, do you remember what happened that year so please stop crying we don't want you to end up like that again. I have to get going now, my class is about to start soon promise me you guys will watch each other back no matter what".

“We promise, now get going you'll be late".

“Bye girls, love you both".

“We love you too Mei"

“Thank you! Mei"

“You welcome! An li".

"Come An li, go shower and I'll go make dinner for us. You need to eat. We'll talk after.

With her friend help she head to the bathroom and took a shower. Instead of showering she's crying letting the water flow through her.

Having their dinner in silence is weird because they usually talk; Looking at her she sees that An li is touching her food nor not eating them.

“Please eat something An li. Starving yourself isn't going to help you, even if it's 3 or 5 bites it's fine".

Nodding her head she grab her utensil with shaky hands. Trying not to think about it and just concentrate on her food. Little by little An li ate, just as Ling ling told her to eat she had 5 bites and said that she's full.

Looking up at An li, then to her plate she barely touched it. Ling ling, told An li to go upstairs first and she'll be there when she's done cleaning up.

“I-i'll stay here with you too. We both can upstairs when you done".

Ling ling, can tell the way her voice cracks she's about to cry again. She told An li to wait at the couch and when she's done she'll let her know.

Back upstairs Ling ling went to the bathroom and saw An li sitting on the edge of her bed. She can only look there's nothing she could do to help her.

“An li why aren't you sleeping. Don't you have work tomorrow or do you plan on staying up again to catch a fever".

“I-i'll go to sleep".

“Here your headphones and sleeping pills. Do you plan on going in tomorrow?"

“I have to, I just started this job and I don't have PTO ( pay time off ) yet".

Nodding her head " If anything happens I mean it if anything happens call me".

“I-i will, call you".

“Ok! now go to sleep, I am going to go brush my teeth and wash my face".

Taking her sleeping pills and turning on her Bluetooth headphones she went to sleep.

Waking up to her alarm, An li head to the bathroom to do her routine. She wanted to stall her time but she have to go in and do her hours today. Sees that Ling ling up, she went to grab extra clothes for her and a towel.

“Extra clothes and a towel is in the bathroom, I kept the same toothbrush from yesterday. When you are done come down for breakfast".

Finishing breakfast An li thank her friend for being their for her.

“Thank you! to the both of you. Even though I couldn't talk properly to you both yesterday, cuz of all the crying. It makes me happy to have you both in my life. Thank you! ".

“Same for the both of us, we too are happy to have you in our life's".

Arriving at the company she's scared to step inside, and having second thoughts makes her want to run back. Wanting to avoid meeting him at any cost. Doing what she always do head into her office, drop off her things then make coffee for Chen Wu.

Talking to herself... "Hopefully he's not in his office yet. And if he is I'm out the door". ( breathe In breathe out An li )

A co-worker saying "Morning An li, how are you".

Ahhhhh.... shaking.....“Oh! um...um.... m-morning I'm good". ( Feeling relieved that it's not him )

“Why did you scream like that".

“Oh, b-because you scared me, coming out f-from no where". ( which is a lie, her thinking it was Chen Wu )

“Hahaha, sorry to surprise you like that. is that for the president"

“Y-yes, do you happen to know if he is here yet".

“I'm not sure, I just got here myself".

“O-ok! I-i better get g-going then, bye see you".

“Bye, An li".

Not wanting to reach his office yet, she's taking slower walk that she could take. And no matter how she do it shes here already, decided to turn back and come back again with much much slower steps.

“Ms. An li, where are you going".

Got scared she jumped a little making sure not to spill his coffee on herself. Turning around saw that it was Xun wu. She actually smile a little, happy to know it was Xun wu instead of Chen wu.

“Xun Wu, oh i-i um.... his coffee got cold so I was gonna go back and r-remake it. An li's mind ( I know lying isn't right, but I want to avoid him ) is h-he here yet. H-he isn't right".

“No, he's meeting someone at the moment"

“R-really, are you s-sure".

“Yes, I'm sure" ( I'm so sorry Ms. An li for lying, but if I don't I'll lose my job )

“Are you really really s-sure"?

“I'm positive"

Not trusting him at all. she decided to walk back to the little break room to remake his coffee.

“Ms. An li, where are you heading to"?

“Going to remake this coffee".

“It should be fine he has a microwave in his office" ( another lie )

“O-ok, I'll go in, I don't want to get into trouble too"

Hesitanting I feel like something isn't right at all. Taking small steps but stop to look back at Xun wu wanting to ask again.

“A-are you really p-positive about it"

Looking at him with fear and teary eyes. Not sure to believe him or not she just kept on walking slowly.

“C-can't you at least g-go inside with me"

“Sure".

“Th-thank you! Xun wu".

Relieved that he agreed to go in with her. Walking towards his door opening it she peek inside, really making sure that he isn't inside. Seeing that no one is inside she went in happily. But, what she didn't know is that Xun wu is no longer behind her. Hear the door close knowing that it was Xun wu that entered with her.

Arms around her waist. “You know! my little white porcelain flower, it's not nice to avoid your future husband". ( Taking the coffee from her. )

Hearing it close to her ear. Already know who it is she can't help but start shaking with tears in her eyes again.

“Don't call m-me t-that.... I hate i-it. Y-your not my husband".
