Ava was buried in a silent ceremony early the next morning. The general atmosphere of the pack house was moody as people sympathized with Ava’s parents and rumors began to fly around about Ava’s murderers.
I ordered everyone at the scene the night before, not to say anything about the letter as it has not been confirmed. I was going to do my own research and confirm everything.
I visited Ava’s parents, had meetings with the Council of Chiefs and my mother as everyone began to share experiences with Rivera’s parents and their arrival and any possible connection with Ava and the people who dropped the letters, before her death.
