Scarlett was fine, sleeping. I suddenly felt stupid for making Rafael leave her alone to apologize for his actions with Hayley all day. I didn’t even want to imagine what would happen to Scarlett if a rival got to her. I apologized to Hayley and Rafael for acting up and making them feel guilty for spending so much time together after several years. Then I talked to Leah and we laughed over how annoyed I had been the previous day. “You finally understand what I meant. You were too intent on making Hayley know that she couldn’t get away with insulting and mistaking you for someone else, that you could barely understand what I was even trying to tell you.
