In a month, Sage had prepared herself for her return to Jacobs Clan with Zayn and Liam. “Maybe they’ll treat me better because of Liam, who knows?” she said, referring to the council members of Jacobs Clan who always treated her differently. “And maybe Zayn will finally stand up for me?” she said, sounding unsure.
