Leah’s POV
Pierre dropped us off at the airport and I gave him a hug. He hugged me back and gave me a loving look, like a father to his daughter.
‘Don’t be a stranger Miss. Leah!’ he winked.
‘I’ll be back’ I smiled ‘thanks for everything’
I would miss being here. Brigitte was lucky she had so many grounded people around her, who loved her.
We boarded the plane and people recognised me, even in my civvies, hair, and makeup plain. The murmurings on the plain quietened down and Kai and I spent the entire journey talking about my week in Paris and the Dinner last night.
When we arrived in Crete Gorge met us and scooped me into a hug.
‘Gorge!’ I was happy to see him ‘This is Kai’.
‘Pleasure to meet you, young man, I’ve heard a lot of good things about you’ he was warm and friendly.
