Leah’s POV
I was up at 6am, something I had become accustomed to way before I had Lucia. She was a sleepy head and would be in bed for at least another hour. I had a quick shower, got dressed and skipped downstairs to make coffee. I liked to have my first cup in peace.
‘Agghhh’ I screeched as I walked into the kitchen to find Kai standing by the counter.
He jumped a country mile before laughing and settling himself ‘Leah, it’s 6.30am what the hell are you doing up so early?’ he seemed to have a moment of realisation ‘Ah, motherhood!’
I laughed ‘No, She would stay in bed all day if I let her! I have been getting up at 5.30 since I moved to Italy, fitted in better with the work routine. Now I can’t sleep past 6 even if I wanted too. Habit! Why are you here?’
