Leah’s POV
True to his word, Kai came over soon after 11am. He had managed to get what he needed and was ready to get stuck in.
‘Wow, this place is amazing’
‘Yeah, I got lucky finding it’
‘You deserve this Leah, you worked damn hard. Now, where do you want me to start?’
We first went to the storage unit and loaded my things, there wasn’t as much there as I had thought, so it didn’t take long. We grabbed some lunch on the way back and then carried on where I had left off this morning.
The furniture was already pretty much where I wanted it, but I needed the appliances plugged in and set up, so as Kai did that, I started to open an unpack boxes. By 5 o’clock, there really wasn’t much else left to do.
‘I can’t believe we managed to get it all done!’
