Erased follows a 29-year-old aspiring manga writer Satoru, who gets an expected ability at his disposal. 'Revival' is the ability that turns back time for Satoru before a tragic accident so he can prevent the accident. One day, he finds his mother killed in his own home, and to save his mother, Revival sends him back to when he was in 5th grade. Realizing that the kidnappings and murders of two classmates and another schoolgirl are related to the death of his mother in the future, he embarks on a journey where he tries to change the future drastically. I liked certain aspects of Satoru, such as being guilty of something he should have done but didn't and realizing that he had a chance to change things and took it because I certainly would have. I also admire the trust in two of his friends and how they worked together without Satoru revealing his ability. His bravery is also admirable because I would have cried, snapped, and told someone about it. Knowing that three disappearances and a future murder will now be in your hands if you don't change anything is daunting. 10 of 10 in the Lundy meter. I loved the series and would a hundred percent recommend it.
