"No." "No." "No." "No." He as been ripping and declining every single design I have handed to him in the space of four hours. I don't know what more he wants. Every design that I have created as been a almost duplicate of his present office that he as now. Down to every single detail and measurement is the same so why the hell is he refusing to accept any of these ones that I'm presenting now? What am I doing wrong? "Miss Linton," he chuckles my name, not the least bit amuse. "I have no idea if I should give you the same fate that these ridiculous designs have sadly gotten but something as to be done with you." Here we go again. "I am really trying to push you to do better but its like your brain does the opposite of what you actually want it to do and then it tries to take on things it isn't use to doing like.." He begun to snap his fingers while making a humming sound as he tries to find what I assume is the right word, not the most appropriate word, oh no! just the word that he see's fit. I almost roll my eyes when he said the word thinking. Of course that would be the word he was looking for. After all, the man does like to hold a grudge and letting go of things is not something he seems capable of doing. "Do them over," he says before putting back all his attention to his phone. I didn't even bother to re group the discarded papers that were now ripped and lying shamelessly on the ground. I just gave him a small nod then walked out of his office, straight into mine. And as soon as I sat in the comfort of my chair, I closed my eyes and leant my head back trying to release some of the tension in my neck. Sweet Jesus! I now regret not taking those God damn advils he told me to take cause now my head is killing me. Like Mr Norman getting on my nerves killing me. Bollocks! "How do I please you Richard Norman?" I mumbled aloud. "Certainly not by sitting there doing absolutely nothing but relaxing and wasting perfectly good time." I swiftly open my eyes when the last few words or should I say; the voice in which the words belong to register in my brain, nervously retrieving blank sheets of paper from the drawer beside me. Unable to match his gaze. "Don't stop on my account Miss Linton. Please do continue to do whatever it is that you were doing before I so rudely interrupted you." Biting on my bottom lip, I picked up my pencil then shake my head vigorously. "No thank you sir." I said sheepishly, still not trusting myself to look up. The man was very intimidating with a pointed look that could either let you s**t your pants or get you wet in seconds and in my case, its the latter and I am not ashamed to admit it nor am I afraid to say; I am attracted him. Despite his harsh words and devil tongue. Returning back to my work, I begun to sketch a new design, forgetting about the man who stood tall and powerful at the front of my door, watching me like an hawk. All I want to do is to just get at least one design right. Just one and I can go home and not deal with him until Monday morning. Just one. Sighing in contentment, a smile stretched across my face when I realized I was almost done. I actually felt like this was it. The one that would set me free. I began to do the final touch when the paper was suddenly snatched from under my palm, causing the pencil point to break against the rough surface of the desk. Groaning in annoyance I looked up to see Mr Norman eyeing the paper closely before raising a finger towards me, gesturing me to stand and come closer. As soon as I was standing beside him he walked out of the office with the paper in his hand, leaving me confused. "Miss Linton, please stop being a nuisance and follow me." he says over his shoulder without turning his head to look at me. I roll my eyes then follow shortly behind, almost getting the breath knocked out of me when I slam into his back. Plonker! (i***t) "If your done trying to batter me I would really like the attention of your eyes and ears Miss Linton." Clearing my throat, i stood beside him in the door way as soon as I'd gotten a hold of myself. Ready for whatever he had to throw at me. "I want you to look at the design that you have kindly took upon yourself to get done then I want you to compare it to my office and tell me what they have in common." Well that was easy. I thought to myself. I don't have to compare anything to know the answer to that. "Everything sir." I said with confidence. "Exactly Miss Linton, well done." I had no idea if he was being a sarcastic asshole but that didn't stop me from smiling. "So you like it sir?" I asked, hoping that there was a %99.9999999 chance he did. Turning around so he was now staring directly at me, piercing green eyes giving away no emotion whatsoever as his big strong hands grip both edges of the paper, slowly ripping it in half. And me being the complete and utter i***t that i am, just stood there with an open mouth as he continues to mercilessly rip the paper to shreds in front of my face. Never once batting an eye. He just ripped. And ripped. And ripped. As I continue to gawk at him with wide eyes. After the heart shattering demonstration from the devil that stood tall before me, I looked down at the now small specks of paper lying on the ground while he just stood there with his hands in his pockets, letting out a happy sigh like that was one of the most pleasurable things he as ever done in his entire life. Bellend! (d**k) "Well then," he says, head tilt to the side with a proud expression on his face. "I'm guessing that answered your question."
