Chapter Fourteen – Unfinished Business
An unbidden yawn sprang from Ethan’s lips. Interlacing his fingers behind his head, he sank into the soft sheets. Stealing a glance at the vision of loveliness snoozing next to him, he sighed, the sight of her beautiful, sleeping face, porcelain neck, and silken upper chest melting his heart.
Propping on an elbow, he pecked her cheek and lay back down beside her. She didn’t stir, breathing deep sleep puffs quieter than true snores. A puzzled frown creased his expression for the briefest moment. How on earth had she found him? She’d blurted the name of that Ryder character from MTV and his shotup vehicle. He had no clue she ever patronized that channel. It made him wonder if the police and even the bikies watched it.
