Mate

    The man that stood before me could have once been hansom, but the sneer that graced his once hansom face makes him very unattractive. The side of his lips is held a little higher than the other side. Some might say it’s a smirk, like he's some type of smart ass. To me this man that is walking my way is nothing but a bastard.

    Once upon a time I would have ran to him. The little Sammy from long ago, would have jumped up and down, but not anymore. After the accident that rip my life a part nothing and no one could make me be happy to see him.

    "Ah, Sapphire" my dad addressed my wolf. To the two people following me they probably thought that it was a nickname.

    'Sapphire what are we going to do?' I begged of my wolf.

    'Keep calm Sammy, I've got this.' Sapphire said in a calming voice that was anything but calming.

    'Oh s**t!'

    'I heard that' Sapphire said with a laugh.

    "Come on Sapphire let’s get you home." My dad said flatly.

    "Mr. Smith, I need you to sign these forms, and then I will explain what Justin here seen," said the nurse.

    "Fine. But keep in mind this is keeping me from work and I really need to get back to it," my dad said sweetly.

"Justin please keep an eye on Sammy for just a second while I talk to Mr. Smith."

    'Oh no! I can't take any more of this. Please for the love of all that is holy,' I cried out.

    "So... um... uh... Sammy... um... do you talk?"

    'Sapphire please get us out of here before dad comes back. We can't stand here all day and look at Justin.'

    'Sammy, do you smell that?'

    'Smell what?'

    'It smells like another were!'

    'Um, Sapphire dad just walked by, it's probably him you smell.'

    'Nope.'

    'Who is it?'

    'Mine! My mate!'

    'No, no, no, no more of these let’s just leave.'

    'Wait! He's human!'

    'Oh, for f**k sakes.'

    "So, you see I was just curious. I have been wanting to talk to you since you ran into me in the parking lot. And... well what Kass said is a lie. Um... we aren't dating or anything. She is my neighbor and um... uh..." Laughter broke out inside my head as Sapphire and I could not believe that Justin a really good-looking guy was stumbling and fumbling his way through talking to me. Me a no body.
