No More

    There once was a little girl who laughed, told silly stories, and screamed in excitement. She is long gone. That little brown-haired girl from long ago she died. Well not really but see she is me. Well, who I used to be now I am No One.     My back is numb. My legs are numb. No tears grace my cheeks. I have nothing left to give. There is nothing left of that little brown-haired girl.  Snap. Whack. Snap. Whack. Snap. Whack. The only sounds that can be heard in the small space of the living room.  "Scream! I TOLD YOU TO SCREAM" says the man you used to throw me in the air and cause me to scream with excitement. "No tears! No screams! SCREAM, CRY DO SOMETHING! You are no one do you hear me!    You are NO ONE!" I guess he's right I am no one.
