Finding Sammy had been difficult. The nurse wouldn’t tell me s**t. So I went to the administration office. “Hello, I need the address for Sammy Smith. I have her homework and would like to take it to her.”
“Oh, hello, you startled me. Sammy Smith you say. Did she leave early?” Asked the too slow secretary.
“Yes, ma’am she did. She left a little while ago from the nurse’s office. Her father came and picked her up after she was beaten up.” Why does she not know this?
“Hmm… I guess the nurse hasn’t sent up the paperwork yet. Did you say that she was beaten up? We had no reports of a fight on the school grounds.”
“Yes, ma’am I did. What do you mean it wasn’t reported? I witnessed the hole thing, then I took Sammy to the nurses office.” What the f**k is going on? I could feel my Dragon trying to break loose.
‘Easy there ol’ boy.’
‘Something is not right here. Why have they not been notified? Our mate is in trouble and they no nothing of the beating she took. Justin, tread carefully, something is wrong.’
“Miss, I witnessed the entire event. After I took her to the nurse, and she was picked up by her father I went to her classes and got her homework. Can you please give me her address, so that I can take her her homework?”
“Justin, you are new to this school, but not new to school. You know the rules I cannot give you the information you seek. I apologize, but if Miss Smith didn’t give you her address or phone number, I cannot provide you with that information. You are going to be late to class if you don’t hurry.” With that said she dismissed me.
‘Growl!’
‘Easy boy. It will be okay. There are other ways of getting the information we seek. How hard could it be to find one girl’s address,’ I calmly told my dragon.
It took an hour to find Kass, Sarah, and Tammy. Imagine that, they are all together. This should be easy. I smiled my biggest megawatt smile. “Hi ladies. Can I ask you something?”
‘They make my skin crawl.’
‘I feel the same way. The same way. Quite now and let me get the information that we seek so we can find Sammy.’
Looking back at the girls in front of me. I had to admit they were cute if it wasn’t for the permanent sneers on their faces. “OMG, hey Justin, how’s it going? We haven’t seen you since this morning.”
“Why were you looking for me,” I said with that big smile still on my face.
“Oh, you know I wanted to show you around, and the girls said they couldn’t find you after the cafeteria,” Kass said flirty.
I swallowed the bile in my throat, “Really? That’s so nice of you. Maybe you can help me now.”
“Of course, what can I help you with? Do you know where your next class is?”
“Actually, I am trying to find out where Sammy lives. I have her homework here.” I showed them my backpack.
Kass’s face instantly turned to a look of disgust. “Why in the hell are you trying to find out where that b***h lives? Why the f**k did you get her homework? This doesn’t make sense Justin.”
“Because it’s the right thing to do. She will be out of school for a while after what happened. She doesn’t need to get behind, it’s the first week of school.” I said trying to calm Kass down.
“How sweet. To bad I won’t tell you.”
“Come on Kass. It’s the right thing to do, and as soon as I get this done the sooner you and I can hang out.”
‘Justin what the f**k are you doing? We cannot do this to Sammy, it will break her if we do.’
‘I got this, don’t worry.’
What felt like a life time later I was on my way to Sammy’s house. Kass is disgusting. I would rather break every bone in body then do what I promised her. I do not want to hang out with that disgusting girl. Pulling up to Sammy's I felt my dragon going crazy in my head.
‘Justin, I smell fear, blood, death, black magic, and our mate she is here.’
‘Utiss, are you sure? I don’t smell anything but fear and our mate. She is near.’
‘Do not doubt me, Justin, I am eternal, I have lived and been reborn for countless millennia.’
‘You are right. I’m sorry for doubting you.’
“What are you doing here boy?” Mr. Smith looks just like I remember.
