"Ma'am, it's getting late. I have to go to the hospital to bring food to my parents."
Pamela, who was forcibly brought to the West's old house, found an excuse to leave.
Charlotte kindly said, "I've already sent someone to bring your parents to my private hospital at the West's, where they will receive special care. Don't worry."

After hearing Charlotte's words, Pamela finally understood why Parker had been drugged.

"So you finally come back?" Charlotte teasingly remarked, not in a good mood. She then pointed to Pamela. "Well, let me introduce someone to you..."
She was interrupted by Parker, "Grandma, a moment, let me introduce my girlfriend first."
"Girlfriend?" Charlotte was taken aback, obvious surprised.
Pamela was even more shocked. God knows how upset she was.
If only Charlotte knew a little more about her grandson, she wouldn't have lost her virginity!
"Come in."
Parker said to someone outside the door.
Everyone turned to look to the entrance, and then they saw a woman in a sky-blue pleated skirt and high heels walking in with her head lowered.
But why did her figure seem so familiar?
"She is my girlfriend, Selene," Parker introduced to Charlotte.
Upon hearing the name 'Selene,' Pamela's mind went blank, and she froze.
As she looked at Selene, Selene also raised her head and looked at her.
The two sisters locked eyes, unable to hide the surprise in their eyes with the same doubt in their hearts.
Why was it her?
Why was she here?
"Isn't this the talented and beautiful Miss Haze from New York? How did you convince this girl to pretend to be your girlfriend?"

Pamela looked at the black diamond ring and suddenly remembered. That was why she found an expected ring in her pocket after saving Parker that day.
It turned out Parker had put it in her pocket when he was rescued.
But the next day, after Selene appeared, the ring disappeared.
She was wondering where the ring had gone, but now it seemed that Selene must have known that the ring belonged to Parker and stole it!
Pamela stood up, saying, "That ring is..."

The only things that could prove she saved Parker were the ring and the name left at the hospital and the surveillance video.
But Selene could steal the ring without a trace and deceive Parker. She must have checked the surveillance video and made thorough preparations.
It was likely that the surveillance video had already been destroyed by Haze.
If she came forward now to expose Selene, even with her true appearance, there wouldn't be any evidence to prove she saved Parker, and she might even get into trouble.

"Pamela, what a coincidence to meet you here. Do you know Parker?" Selene remembered Parker mentioning that his grandmother arranged a blind date for him.
Could it be that the person being introduced was Pamela?

Selene felt uneasy inside.

Facing the powerful and ruthless Parker, as well as Haze family who constantly used her foster parents as a threat, Pamela had to be extremely cautious. Seeing her turn around to leave, Charlotte stood up and grabbed Pamela's hand, "Hold on, girl, sit for a moment."
She pulled Pamela onto a chair, then sternly addressed Parker, "You little s**t, come with me!"
"Yes, Grandma."
Parker responded and followed Charlotte into the inner room before giving Pamela a meaningful look.
With a creak, the door to the inner room closed.
Selene could no longer contain her anger and quickly approached Pamela, whispering, "Pamela, you..."
