Chapter 4

Back two months ago Jabeen used to be as innocent as a lamb. She never did something wrong until the New Year's happened, which changed her the most . The New Year 's Eve party was like a storm which had blown away the old Jabeen. She felt alone. She started dating lots of guys, that's when she met Zuraib. He was the first guy after Tyler with whom she felt comfortable with. His hugs made her feel like home. But she knew no matter how much it felt good , her heart always belonged to Tyler . She knew she couldn't have him. She thought breaking into someone else's heart will make her feel better , but in reality it might be the worst thing she could have done. Jabeen and Zuraib took their friendship to the next level through a dare. They were hanging out all together with his friends. Jabeen texted Aabir,"Hey why aren't you still here? Dude, I am waiting for you." Zuraib caught her looking at the phone and he says,

" JABEEN?"

Jabeen responds quickly ,

"Yes?"

"We are here to have fun, right?"

"Yeah?" she replies nervously.

" Then stop looking at your phone. I brought you here to meet my friends." he says with a smile.

" Okay dude, got it, " Jabeen's smiles as she switches her screen off.

" Good." he says as pulled her cheek.

After a while Zuraib said,

"Guys listen."

Everybody stopped talking .

"Let's play truth and dare."

Everybody shouted,

"YEAH!"

One by one everybody got to do some weird stuffs. Jabeen chooses truth twice and the questions were too easy for her until the last . The bottle turned to Zuraib . He had chosen dare like always. But this time everyone said, " Kiss Jabeen." Jabeen got too shy . She couldn't do it. She thought she wasn't able to get entangled with anyone after Tyler. But Zuraib proved it wrong.

Zuraib said, " Look it's okay, if you don't want to do it ."

She thought exactly that but something changed her mind and she said," I am okay with it."

She drank a glass of wine which was mainly for the girls beside her . She sat on Zuraib's lap and started kissing him hard . Everyone started wooing. But Zuraib stopped her immediately. It felt wrong to him . He knew something was off. He took her to the boy's washroom holding her hand tightly. After going to the washroom he told her,

"Hey! What's wrong with you suddenly? I was kidding okay?"

Jabeen stopped him from talking by growing the kiss . Zuraib couldn't say anything. After a few minutes he was also driven by the moment. Jabeen thought it's going to end soon and she's not going to remember this but things always turns the opposite for Jabeen .

Jabeen's parent's got into the same restaurant where Jabeen was. After arriving Adil and Mr. Ahmed reaches to the washroom. Entering the room Adil's eyes first catches Jabeen and he shouted, " SIS!" Jabeen stopped right there. Mr. Ahmed was near . He came inside and saw his daughter in the arms of a stranger. He couldn't bear it. He holds Adil's hand and tells him, " Let's get out of this damn restaurant."

Jabeen was as shocked as Mr. Ahmed. She tried to ran after her father but Zuraib didn't let her go . He said,

"Where you going?"

Jabeen didn't have the time to explain. She pushes him towards the wall and starts going after her life. By the time she gets outside, they were already gone. Standing there all alone she starts crying her eyes out. She texted Aabir to pick her up. While walking to the stairs to talk to Zuraib she fainted. In the morning she was already home in her soft cuddly bed like it was just a big bad dream.

Tyler sees Jabeen lost in her thoughts. He calls her, "Hey whimsy . You okay?" Jabeen says,

"Yeah."

"What happened? "

Jabeen decided to tell Tyler the entire thing . " Why did you do it in the first place?"

Jabeen doesn't have the courage to answer that question. It is really hard for her to look into Tyler's beautiful eyes and answer that she's in love with him for which she needed another guy to get over him . Tyler senses Jabeen getting tensed . He doesn't want to put her into more pressure. So he says,

"It sucks"

" I know. I hate my brothers"

" I am not talking about your brothers."

"Then?"

" I am talking about your dad."

"Excuse me? Don't you dare talk about my dad like that." Jabben says as she wipes her nose with the tissue.

He sneaks a gorgeous smile saying,

" Sorry ! I am just pulling your leg."

" I am serious. Don't talk about him like that." Jabben reminds again.

" Don't you think he's too harsh on you?"

"It's not his fault . He's just playing his role as a father . I am the one who's misleading."

"No you're not."

" You know, he's just amazing . Even after all this s**t he still talks to me. I am so grateful for a father like him."

With a childish accent Tyler says, " Well , I wouldn't call 'Come eat dinner and Did you finish your homework?' talking"

" I know it's not that much but at least he has such patience. "

" You love him a lot , huh?"

" Yeah "

" Really? More than Sam?"

Jabeen says with a smile,

" No, Sam's place in my heart is as equal as my father's."

" How is that possible? You know loving two people at once and equally?"

She says with an ecstatic air, " You just have to trust your heart and it's capability of doing it ."

She further says,

"Dad never gave up on me and Sam he's just the big brother I have always wanted. Even though he's not my real brother."

Just when she says that someone says from the back,

"Real brother, huh?"

Jabeen turned aside to see Sam standing in front of her. There was only one question circling Jabeen's mind right now, "Does he know everything? Everything she did in the past two months?"
