Standing behind the bar, I felt like my heart was going to leap out of my chest. He had my phone in one hand and was using his to call somebody else. I couldn’t even hear their conversation over my heart beating a million times a second. I was terrified, terrified of what had just happened. I was terrified of what this meant. Who was this guy?
