Leaning on the side of my car, I take a cigarette out from the packet in my pocket as I watched her walk up the driveway to her front door. I watched as she let herself inside and closed the door softly behind her. A part of me chuckled at the fact that she didn’t turn back to look at me when I told her to be at work.
