The car pulled up to a stop just outside my driveway. I shifted in my seat to look over at Alejandro who had a hard look on his face. The entirety of this car ride had been as silent as the street currently is, except for the rumbling of the car engine.
I didn’t understand why he was so cold towards me. I thought this was what he wanted but did I even really know what it is that he wanted? Maybe I jumped to an assumption thinking that he was only in so that he had somebody to warm his bed. But if that was the case then why me?
