Lyraeus’ POV
The afternoon sun had barely begun to warm the castle walls when I noticed something was off. Aria’s scent, usually a comforting presence in our shared chambers, was faint, as if she hadn’t been here in hours. My heart skipped a beat. She never left without informing me, especially not after the events of the past days. I quickly body dressed, my mind racing with possibilities.
I scoured the entire castle, checking every room, every corner, but Aria was nowhere to be found. The sense of unease grew stronger, gnawing at my gut. Where could she have gone? I needed answers, and fast. Leaving the castle, I made my way to the meeting hall located at the pack house where the elders and Akita were likely gathered, discussing our next steps.
