The cave was dimly lit, the air cool and slightly damp. As I stirred, the fog of unconsciousness slowly lifted, and I became aware of a presence nearby. My eyes fluttered open to see Ryker standing at the entrance of the cave, his silhouette outlined by the faint light from outside. My heart raced, panic seizing me. What was he doing here?
