“They will never,” Vanora said annoyed. She began to walk away, but Nessa stopped her by grabbing her arm. “They will hurt you. Sometimes it is better to hurt them before they hurt you. Mortals are more fun to harm, play with, and destroy when needed.” Vanora snatched her hand from Nessa. “The difference between you and me is that I like to believe in them, Nessa. Not all of them are bad. You were always the one wanting to play and not do your duty. Is that why you left home?” Nessa roared and white eyes appeared in the mist replacing her body, “I can do as I desire. There is no one to stop me.” Vanora shook her head, “there is no one to harm you here. There is no hero. You are free my sister.” The miasma faded and Vanora continued to sing.
