Chapter Nine
“How do you know that?” she asked cautiously.
The haze moved around her creating a current. Her white eyes flashed in front of her and she raised her hands to Roth blocking him from sight. Vanora moved back and began to run. Roth ran through the mist and pointed his sword at Vanora.
“I will not wed a creature of Sidhe. You tricked me,” Roth demanded.
Vanora covered her ears listening to what he had screamed out. She had never revealed her nature to him. Vanora believed that Roth would have loved her just the same. Tears fell down from her eyes. She stopped running by a cliff. She turned and could see a golden light in the distance. The mists spiraled around her. Vanora turned and ran up the hill passed some marshy areas.
