Meeting The Family

Annabelle

It had been a few weeks since the three of them made their arrangement. Without meaning to they ended up making a schedule. They would alternate every other day to get time with Annabelle, and once a week would be the three of them. But of course there was extras that the other male didn't seem to know about.

After The King would be finished and go to his room for the night, James would sneak over and spend the night with her. The King would also look for excuses to bring Annabelle into his office.

Even The Queen was happy she was getting her alone time with The King he promised and still finding time to be intimate with her.

" I can't believe your family is coming for a visit, I'm beyond nervous" Annabelle told him as they were going out for a walk.

" You have no reason to be nervous they're going to adore you" he told her kissing her hand.

" Besides they're going to be so happy that I've finally found someone, my moms been worried I was going to stay alone the rest of my life" he told her and she sighed.

" That's also a fear, what if I don't live upto who Katherine was?" she asked him and he sighed.

" Well truthfully you won't. She was one of a kind and there won't be anyone else like her. But you are also one of a kind, and you are amazing in your own way. I promise they will adore you" he told her.

She smiled at him and gave him a kiss " Remind me whose all coming" she said to him.

" Mother and father of course. Frank and Lilly is their names. My oldest brother William, his wife Joan and their four daughter's. My brother Philip and his wife Elizabeth, and their two sons. My sister Gabrielle and her husband Graham, their two sons and daughter. My other sister Eleanor and her husband Benjamin and their three sons and daughter. Finally my youngest sister Penelope and her husband Jack and their twin sons" he told her listing everyone off.

" Oh my that's the entire family" she told him with a chuckle and he nodded.

" What are the King and Queen to do while your family is visiting?" she asked him.

" They will still be taken care of, but we will be in the gardens having a meal and visiting there. Just because my father used to be the right hand doesn't mean they get full access to the castle with all the kids" he told her shrugging her shoulders.

" I don't think I'll be able to remember everyone" she told him and James laughed.

" They will understand they know there's alot of them" he told her.

" Well best get to sleep they will be here in time for lunch tomorrow " he told her as they made their way down to their rooms.

" Can I still sleep with you? I really struggle sleeping alone now" she told him and he grinned giving her a kiss.

" I feel the same way, I need my beautiful Annabelle by my side to be able to sleep" he told her.

Morning had came once breakfast was over Annabelle and James went outside to get the garden ready for the family visit. Before long they could hear the sound of people coming into the garden. Various family members were hugging James and hugging Annabelle as well. Everyone was introducing themselves to her and she was really trying hard to remember.

Watching his nieces and nephews running around and playing kept bringing a smile to Annabelle's face.

" I'm glad he met you Annabelle, you've brought a light to him that we haven't seen in a very long time" Lilly his mother told her as the two of them were sitting down beside each other.

" Thank you Lilly that's very sweet of you to say. What was he like as a child? I'm very nosey" she said to her with a laugh.

" James was a very silly child, from a very young age he had a strong desire to be the kings right hand. He was the only one of our boys that wanted to. It's amazing seeing what fate and destiny can achieve when you hope and pray" she told her and Annabelle smiled.

" I hope James brings you as much happiness as you do him" Lilly told her and she nodded.

" I never knew how well someone could be treated before I met him. I'm so greatful for how you raised him" she told her as they hugged.

Annabelle looked over to see where James was and he was chasing his neices and nephews around the garden, Annabelle couldn't help it she had the biggest smile on her face. Too quickly it was time for his family to head home, she hugged everyone goodbye and promised to see each other soon.

" James, thank you for that. I didn't know meeting family could be so special" she told him as she gave him a kiss.

" I wish you would've had at least one brother or sister. I think you would've really loved it" he told her.

" Seeing how much fun your family is I think so too" she told him as she grabbed his hand and they made their way into the castle.

" Be honest how do you think it went?" she asked him.

" they just loved you, especially my mother. See I told you that you would have nothing to worry about" her told her giving her a kiss.
