She lay in bed getting ready to sleep for the night, Annabelle's mother actually got her ready for bed tonight since Annabelle was being punished. Sometimes it felt like they could have more of their relationship, but he worked alot or was always really tired at the end of the day.

There was a knock on the door and she went over confused and opened it to see the King standing there.

" Is everything alright?" she asked him.

He nodded " Can I come in?" he asked and she nodded.

" I know this is a little out of the ordinary, but I liked seeing you in your beautiful dress and I need you" he told her as he slipped his hands under her nightgown.

She pushed him away and went to the other side of the room " While I'd like to, it's really late and I'm very tired" she told him as he frowned.

" I wasn't expecting to be rejected" he told her looking confused.

" Not the nicest feeling is it?" she asked him and he sighed.

" I understand how it feels like I'm always rejecting you, but I work way too much and I'm just tired by the end of the day" he told her.

" It's fine, I just had hope our marriage would be more magical then the typical arranged marriage that's all. But now I have my expectations" she told him.

" Well that is on me, I clearly haven't been showing you how important you are to me" he told her getting closer to her.

" No" was all she told him when he crashed his lips onto hers.

He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist, he backed her into the wall as he deepened the kiss.

" Albert stop I mean it" she told him pushing him away and climbing off of him.

" I now realize what this marriage is, it's when I'm convinent to you. And that's fine, but It isn't convinent for me right now and you will respect that because I respect it when you say it" she told him moving away from him.

He sighed " What can I do to show you that I do care about you?" he asked her.

She shrugged her shoulders " I don't know, it's not like I've ever seen a Royal marriage with actual love" she told him.

" You don't think your parents love each other?" he asked her and she shook her head.

" Doubtful, hes had at least six mistresses that I know of" she told him shrugging her shoulders.

" Well I don't have one isn't that enough?" he asked her.

" For now, but I'm sure eventually someone will catch your eye. Which is fine I guess most Kings have at least one mistress in their lifetime. I just feel like when we were teenagers you led me to believe we would be different, I just need to accept the reality" she told him.

He sighed " Listen, in regards to the love I'm not there yet, and I know you aren't either. I also didn't have a mother and father that love each other so I don't know what that looks like. But I do know that you're very important to me, I want to spend all of my free time with you I just don't know how to express that. I'm continuing to learn how to make sure your needs are met while running the kingdom." he told her and she gave him a small smile.

" I know this will take time to show you that I do care about you more then a typical King, so how many hours a week would you like me to set aside for you?" he asked her.

" What do you mean set aside for me?" she asked giving him a look.

" Time during the week that's not just bedroom play, for you and I to go on walks maybe sit down and talk" he told her.

She bit her bottom lip " Let's start out with three" she suggested as she walked closer to him.

" I promise I will make that happen, you deserve to know how special you are. I will keep working on my end to show you that" he told her as she unexpectedly kissed him

" I thought you were tired?" he asked her with a chuckle.

" I'm not that tired" she told him as they made their way to her bed.

" Consider me your slave I will do whatever you ask" he told her as she climbed on top of him and continued to kiss her.

She moaned " You're so hard already" she told him and he grinned.
