too young to love

Chisom was brave I have to admit. I have never seen such braveness before, she went after what she wants not minding if its out of her reach, she keeps her emotions in check, always expressing her feelings. Mere looking at her you will know she's a no-nonsense kind of girl. She is a reserved kind of girl yet also an outspoken type. Chisom sells at a retail store close to where I lived, though the store is owned by her Aunty, Chisom was more like the sales girl there. she goes to school everyday, but she's always at the store from 3:00pm everyday. I have been patronising the store for more than a year now and I have to say Chisom is a very talented and smart business girl, even at a young age... I had always noticed that she was always being kind and polite to me, but I took it to be one of my gifts... You see I had always loved children and in return they had always had this genuine love and respect for me. Though I'm just in my early 20s but I've once been mistaken for a child's dad because of the happiness and affection the child was showing to me. And not only to babies, I had always been admired by growing-teens too irrespective of their s*x. So when I noticed Chisom's excessive politeness towards me I took it to be normal. Chisom had always been a little bit too big for her age and that gave her confidence and also earned her a little respect from customers. And you dare not call her a small girl. No matter where she sees me she never forget to greet me in her usual manner “ bro Precious good afternoon ", I always answered in kind too “ aunty Chisom afternoon oo", and that always made her smile. There was this day I went to her store to get something and she was with a class mate in school, I heard her class mate asked her quietly but not too quietly because I heard... She asked Chisom “ is that him? " and that seemed to make Chisom very angry because she knew I must have heard it too, “ shut up!! Must you talk?" Chisom shouted at her friend which made her friend to apologise profusely. I acted cool like I hadn't heard anything but I did, and Chisom knew it... “ what could they have been talking about me?" I wondered to my self . I hope its not what I'm thinking...she seems to be crushing on me " I thought to my self, Because her behaviour towards me was becoming a little bit alarming. She was just too young to be crushing on me for now. Subsequent events began to confirm my doubts. She would playfully tell me that she would come to my house to eat, or she would tell me that if I can't cook she can help me do it. On one occasion after she travelled for some days and came back she told me that she missed me in a playful manner, she even asked me if I didn't miss her, I had to tell her I did... One day when she was being extremely playful with I asked her “ come Chisom how old are you?" “ I'm fifteen plus" was her reply. Later On I was thinking to my self “ she's way too young for what she's trying to do, and I was way older than her". Well I hope she gets over it soon cause it's just a phase in her life she's passing through now... which is puberty. That fateful day was on a Sunday, I went to get something, and as usual she was giving me the best of her smiles, which I found kind of weird but I still returned it. Then she said something strange, “ bro Precious I want to tell you something". “ yeah sure, whats the matter?" I asked, “ bro Precious I like you oo" she said And I said “ sure I know, why not? who doesn't like me?" That was then she shocked me by saying “ bro Precious its not just like like , I mean really like you like very much, more than everybody else..." Then she shocked me even more by saying...
