“A summoner. Someone to call upon the Unicorn Witch,” Cameron said. “But it can’t just be anyone. This person must have a courageous heart and pure intent.”
“Where’d you learn all of this?” Monte struggled up the slippery incline, Cousin B’s broom like a crowbar against his neck.
“Baap,” Cameron said.
Of course, Monte thought. The mysterious Baap. No point in questioning any further.
“So, what happened with Moira?” Cameron asked.
Monte snarled to himself. He wanted to believe that this was all a bad dream. That Moira wasn’t the villain. But he knew Cameron had been right all along. Moira’s charisma had shaded who she really was, and Monte had fallen for her ploy. On top of that, she had toyed with his whole family and his friends. It was time for her to pay.
