"Good morning, Alpha Noah! What do I owe the pleasure of a call so early in the morning from you? Is everything okay?" asked Alpha Koda Black thoughtfully.
"Well, Alpha Koda, we have been friends too long for me to sugarcoat anything, so I am going to just come right out and address my concerns and state my requests. I think once you hear me out that you will agree with me, totally." insisted Alpha Noah confidently.
"Okay, one second ......while I connect my son William into the call. I have a feeling that I am going to want him on this call as well." stated Alpha Koda.
"That's fine." replied Alpha Noah calmly.
"Dad...... what's up?" murmured Alpha William, sounding distracted.
"Son, I have retired Alpha Noah of the Albermarle Peninsula Wolf Lake Pack on the line with concerns." answered Alpha Koda.
"Really?! Good morning, Alpha Noah. " responded Alpha William, sounding puzzled along with his father.
"Good morning Alpha William and Alpha Koda. I don't know if both of you were aware that, ten months ago while vacationing, my mate and I came across your Luna Mira's estranged family living and thriving in Baltimore, Maryland. We were extremely impressed with them, and especially with the four twenty-something young ladies. They are cousins. We have pretty much bonded with them and consider them our adopted daughters. They have been living as Lone Wolves and Rogues under the watchful eye of the Elder Council for years. We have convinced Pandora, Anora, Fiora and Azora to come visit our pack to try pack life out for a solid month. They have only ever experienced or heard about the negative aspects of pack life pertaining to mix-breeds." revealed Alpha Noah.
"That sounds wonderful, and I am glad that you met them. However, I must admit. My mate, Mira Sutton, isn't estranged from her family. " conveyed Alpha Koda.
"Did anyone from her family attend the Luna ceremony?" probed Alpha Noah bluntly.
"No, but that is because they hate anything to do with pack life and nothing else." explained Alpha Koda.
"Who told you that?" questioned Alpha Noah.
"Luna Mira, why is there more to the story?" inquired Alpha William.
"Yes! I suspect both of you are working with a distorted version of the past twenty-four years. Her mother, Ora Marcille Sutton, and her own daughter, Pandora Ava Sutton, along with several other family members, reported that when our Pandora was about eighteen months old, Mira and her human husband, at the time, Bryon, who had a serious gambling and drinking problem at the time, dropped Pandora off for a visit with her grandmother long enough for the young couple to go to the supermarket. They were to grab some items and come right back. Well, they never came back for their child. Thereafter, Pandora was raised entirely by her grandparents. Pandora was forced to settle for occasional postcards in the mail, maybe twice a year if she was lucky. They never came back. They never called or texted or emailed. They only found out about your marriage because of another damn postcard." declared Alpha Noah.
"Please tell me that you are kidding me." barked Alpha Koda.
"Unfortunately, I am not. Pandora found out after the fact about your mate bond just like she did in a damn postcard about her parents' divorce. Pandora is twenty-four years old and has no memory of her mother. She is angry and has a bunch of questions that I think quite frankly she deserves the answers to without the world watching. Therefore, I would like to invite your family here to help heal some wounds before the Annual Mating Ball." insisted Alpha Noah.
"A postcard?" gasped Alpha William.
"Yes!" barked Alpha Noah.
"No memory of Mira. Let me just say that is not the story that we were led to believe. I need to speak with my Luna and I will be in touch." admitted Alpha Koda.
"Tell me something do any of them have their wolves?" inquired Alpha William, wanting to know if anything they were told was true.
"Yes, in various different degrees from what I have noticed. Azora, whom we discovered was fate to our Beta Royce Clayton, has a huge and beautiful jet black wolf indicative of the noble Beta-Sutton bloodline. Twin sisters Fiora and Anora have supernatural strengths and abilities with no wolf to speak of. Then, as far as Pandora, she has a wolf but has been unable to shift. Her wolf claims not to be strong enough yet but will, with more time, be able to eventually successfully shift. Nonetheless, Pandora is extremely strong and an excellent fighter without a wolf. All four young women would make excellent additions to any pack they join." divulged Alpha Noah confidently and proudly.
"So she is a lantern like her mother with the possibility that it could somehow change. That's not what Mira told me. And you said twenty-four, not twenty years old." expressed Alpha Koda, shaking his head in pure frustration.
"Correct." said Alpha Noah firmly.
"We need to dig a lot more deeper into this situation. I will be in touch." added Alpha Koda.
"I understand. I will be expecting your call. Thank you for listening to me. I honestly don't want family drama ruining this Mating Ball .....too much is at risk. Besides, I think it's time my Pandora got some much-needed answers." proclaimed Alpha Noah.
"I understand perfectly. Thanks." admitted Alpha Koda.
"Wait....how are their temperaments?" demanded Alpha William, thinking about his hot-tempered female friends in the White Wolf and Red Wolf Packs.
"Volatile....if they feel disrespected or threatened. They are not to be underestimated. One of my pack members had to find out the hard way last night. But in Pandora, Anora, Finn and Azora's defense, they were warned repeatedly." voiced Alpha Noah in a matter of fact tone.
"Good to know. Thanks for answering my questions. My father and I will be in touch soon regarding our arrival. It will definitely be before the Annual Mating Ball." advised Alpha William.
"Thanks." replied Alpha Noah.
"No! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We were not aware and this makes me wonder what else we were not aware of." stated Alpha Koda before ending the call on his end.

The first full day in the ......... Albemarle Peninsula Wolf Lake Pack.
The next morning, Alpha Rhett, Alpha Noah along with Luna Tahlia went to visit Ivy in the hospital in order to calmly request time for Alpha Rhett to sort out his feelings regarding both women.
They had already sent out a public statement canceling the Luna ceremony to the world. They claimed it was a mutual decision between both parties. In their attempt not to embarrass Ivy and throw Finn so quickly into the public spotlight.
Immediately, Ivy blew up and demanded Alpha Rhett reject Finn. Alpha Rhett refused to reject his fate mate Finn.
Nonetheless, Alpha Rhett is still torn due to his strong feelings for Ivy Brooks.
Plus, Alpha Rhett stepped away from Ivy, purposely creating distance so not to cause Finn the slightest of pain.
His actions didn't go unnoticed by anyone.
Besides, his parents were proud that not only was Rhett being honest, but respectful as well. Alpha Rhett wasn't leading anyone on, and he wanted to take the time to make a clear, level-headed decision that he could live with.
Hurt and upset, Ivy checked herself out of the hospital against doctor's orders.
Then, Ivy jumped into her car and drove off packland in a rage.
Everyone thought she just needed time to cool off, so they let her go.

Meanwhile, Momma Tahlia conducted a complete pack tour and a mandatory pack lunch with no further love connections made to her heartfelt disappointment. In addition, the pack prepared for the Anniversary party of their beloved Alpha and Luna scheduled for that evening.
Consequently, Alpha William called back requesting permission to enter their pack tomorrow. He wanted to meet with the ladies himself before his father and stepmother arrived.
They extended him an invitation.
He accepted.
