Ivy drove off in a hurry to meet with an old friend, an evil witch by the name of Ravenna that had been on her payroll for a minute now.

Ravenna gave Ivy Brooks a handcrafted tiger's tooth on a brown, real leather cord and accompanied by natural Tiger's eyestone beads. If Ivy could trick Alpha Rhett into wearing it, the necklace would indeed work together with the love potion already in his bloodstream to fight against the Moon Goddess's fate matebond natural responses.

Later, Ivy Brooks returned after speaking with a few pack allies to ensure, if she made the Co-Lunas offer, that she would have enough major backing that would give Alpha Rhett and his parents reason for pause.

Later that afternoon, as everyone was busy running around dealing with caterers, florists, deliveries, the four cousins worked together quietly in their newly set-up home office work space.

Alpha Rhett, Beta Royce and Gamma Fletcher worked in Alpha's office making final arrangements for the security regarding the Annual Mating Ball that needed to go smoothly.

Ivy stopped by unexpectedly, trying to gauge the effects of the tiger's tooth necklace so far on Alpha Rhett. This time Alpha Rhett didn't pull away and lovingly caressed her face and ear as he spoke with her.

Alpha Rhett ignored them and continued stroking Ivy's long blonde hair as they spoke.

Ivy wanted to know if Alpha Rhett could make his final decision within the next 30 days.

Reluctantly, Alpha Rhett agreed to give both women an answer in that short timeframe. As a result, his men stormed off, livid that Alpha Rhett was still even entertaining Ivy with Finn in the picture, now.

Beta Royce and Gamma Fletcher never liked Ivy Brooks and never saw what he saw in her. Plus, to them, she wasn't even that pretty.

After they left, Ivy flirted with Alpha Rhett hard and against his better judgment. They began kissing and making out in his office on top of his desk.

At the same time..............in the guesthouse.

"Ouucchh......Ooouuuuch" gasped Finn in agony.

"What's wrong with you?" demanded Anora, looking fearful and concerned as she started feeling pains in her chest. Anora sat quietly trying to determine if she was suffering from twin mirror sympathy pains or actual betrayal pains as well.

"He....he....." murmured Finn as the pain increased, stealing her breath away.

"He...who...." said Anora, not really wanting to know the answer she already knew in her heart.

" You've got to be f*****g lying to me right now. Don't tell me we gonna have to f**k Momma Tahlia's son up on our first official day here. Fuck...He promise......." screamed Azora, livid.

"I guess his word ain't shit." snapped Pandora, fuming.

"Well, he gonna to learn today that our word is bonded, and we are prepared to stand on it." declared Azora, standing up.

"Ouch...ouch.... At first ..... I thought he was just stroking her face and playing in her hair, not realizing that counts too, but the pain is increasing. I think they are somewhere making out...... I can't take this..... If they actually completed the act.... I think I might pass out from the pain. I didn't give him permission to cause me intentional pain. I want out of this matebond." cried Finn, holding her chest from the intense pain Alpha Rhett was causing her.

"Pandora...let's go find him. We will get them to stop. I promise! Anora...stay with your sister. Call Mamma Tahlia to help care for Finn fifteen minutes after we leave. So we can have time to find him and make him pay. I have a plan. I will tell you on the way." instructed Azora as Pandora stood up ready to go to war with her.

"Fine! Let me grab my stun gun just in case. He is a big muthafucker." voiced Pandora.

"I will." replied Anora, determined not to let her sister or cousins catch on that she was in pain as well. If they knew they wouldn't leave, and they needed to go to stop Alpha Rhett from continuing to hurt them.

Besides, Anora never liked the idea of having to share a damn mate in the first place. Anora quickly decided on the first opportunity she got she would reject his sorry ass.

Meanwhile, as Anora held and comforted her twin sister Finn, Pandora and Azora ran upstairs, grabbed more weapons along with 8 ft. Swivel Handle Hand-Braided Bull Whip Black that had been dipped in mistletoe and wolfsbane. Mistletoe operates similarly to wolfsbane. It is highly poisonous to werewolves, though an Alpha typically requires a much heavier dose to succumb to it.

After that, they stormed out of the guesthouse and headed straight for the packhouse.

Next, they walked past the garage and grabbed a completely full 5 gallon gas can.

Following Alpha Rhett's scent, they went straight to the packhouse as they approached Alpha's office, two guards stopped them and asked if they had an appointment and if not they needed to come back later.

A fight broke out, and then the two guards were knocked unconscious by a furious Azora as Pandora grabbed a nearby commercial super -size coffee dispenser filled with piping-hot scalding coffee from beside the wall.

After that, they stormed into the office.

At the same time, Anora called Momma Tahlia to beg for a pack doctor for Finn and to notify her of her son's betrayal. Momma Tahlia and Alpha Noah rushed over upset and contacted the pack doctor as well. After that, the pack doctor came and took Finn to the hospital for observation and to give her a mild sedative to relieve the pain, hopefully.

In addition, they tried to contact their son, but with no luck.

Realizing that Pandora and Azora were gone in the middle of this crisis, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Pandora and Azora had gone to make good on their promise. They knew the girls' temper, along with their over-protective nature regarding each other, would cause them to act out in this situation.

They were genuinely frightened for the girls and their son.

Therefore, Alpha Noah's parents quickly mindlinked Beta Royce and Gamma Fletcher to find the girls and stop them from hurting Alpha Rhett and Ivy. Beta Royce and Gamma Fletcher had been attempting to eat a late lunch together.

Hurriedly, Beta Royce and Gamma Fletcher rush out of the pack's dining hall and head straight back to Alpha's office.
