I quickly contacted Queen Dela, and she promptly agreed to accompany me to the two packs.

I had Queen Dela to dress up like one of White Fang Pack's Warriors to throw people off.

Queen Dela thought it was a brilliant idea. Plus, Queen Dela used her fae' energy to mirror my wolf to give the illusion that she has a wolf as well. After that, we jumped into my rented black Cadillac SUV.

First, we met with Alpha Tate of the Blue Ridge Pack located in Virginia, which Grandma Ora and her two granddaughters, Pandora and Azora, are assigned to as Lone Wolves. Alpha Tate has always supported Lone Wolf status even when it wasn't popular or something that his pack saw value in.

The journey from Washington, D.C. to Big Stone Gap, Virginia wasn't too bad. We arrived late in the afternoon.

It is the closest human mountain town to Alpha Tate's pack territory.

A rural community nestled at the far southern tip of the state with a vibrant downtown area and a deep coal mining history, a fact I later learned from my best friend Shelly. Just another unwanted fact stored in my brain cells. Thanks to having a genius as a best friend and partner -in - crime.

Nonetheless, we found two very interesting characters in the Blue Ridge Pack as well. They didn't look too happy to see us, especially me.

Provisional Alpha Andre' of the Michaels' True-Blue Pack, located in Louisiana. He rarely leaves his pack for social visits. He still didn't know Little Vera was happy and striving in our pack and I wanted to keep it that way for now.

Alpha Zane's half-brother, Alpha Gerald, whom has still been running around trying to gain control of the Safe Haven Pack and custody of his nephew Santana unsuccessfully.

Thanks to a little digging from Shelly, we were able to determine that they are trying to gather support and information.

Alpha Gerald and Provisional Alpha Andre' are working together.

They are under the impression that Little Vera is still a member of the Safe Haven Pack.

Thus, if they can get enough Alphas to sign a petition supporting Little Santana, be placed under the care of his beloved Uncle that will grant Provisional Alpha Andre' access to Little Vera. Then, they eventually can place her, supposedly, back in the loving hands of Provisional Alpha Andre'.

I quickly notified Alpha Michele' and he made some calls. Alpha Michele' stopped the petition dead in its tracks.

In addition, we have increased security in and around the Safe Haven Pack as well as for the White Fang Pack. We will be keeping a much closer watch on these two creeps. We can't take any chances now that we know they are working together to steal their futures.

It won't happen on my watch.

Luckily, before our arrival in Alpha Tate's pack territory, they had not been successful with securing his signature.

Alpha Tate seems like a fair man. I can tell why the Elder Council chose him to work personally with Lone Wolves.

Alpha Tate had nothing but good things to say about Grandma Ora and her two granddaughters, Pandora and Azora. I could tell Alpha Tate genuinely regretted not being able to fold them into his pack. Especially when Alpha Tate talked about how strong and beautiful Grandma Ora and her granddaughter Azora wolves were compared to others.

Any pack or Alpha would be blessed to have them.

Secondly, we traveled to meet with the eldest brother, Beta Malcolm, currently a high-ranking member of the Blood Mountain Pack in Georgia. His wife Bellamy and children Parker, Cassius and Micheal weren't the friendliest.

They were outright rude and snobbish.

I had to stop myself several times from punching them. Queen Dela found them amusing.

Nevertheless, if they act like this to us, I can only imagine how they act towards family members they consider beneath them.

Therefore, I would not join this pack either. I can see for myself why Pandora and Azora didn't join their Uncle's pack and chose willingly to remain Lone Wolves.

I wasn't impressed with Alpha Alaric or future Alpha Nolan or his pack, but Beta Malcolm was cool. He confirmed everything that we had discovered so far that Luna Mira is indeed a LYING ASS b***h.

Furthermore, we need to find not only the human ex-husband Bryon as well as whoever her fate mate was. They are the keys to unlocking the hidden truth behind Luna Mira Sutton's web of lies.

Personally, I love a good mystery.

I will be honest, due to time restrictions, we did use a little magic to travel to get us there before evening.

Furthermore, we found Alpha Genarro Rizzo, Alpha Don Luis Sandoval, along with the deceased Alpha Emilio Restrepo, appointed heir: his younger cousin Alpha Rafael, already there wrapping up a meeting with his Alpha.

They have an alliance treaty with each other. They meet quarterly, interesting.

Those three men have always spelled "trouble."

I didn't like them the first time I met them years ago at my mating ceremony to my first mate, Delta Laz of the Black Mantle Pack, before he died.

And I like them even less now.

Therefore, as we left that evening, I texted Gamma Shelly to watch this group of men carefully for the next couple of months.

We can't afford to get caught slipping.

That evening............... In the White Fang Pack.

After a two-hour-long, eye-opening Zoom meeting with Beta Holly, Queen Dela, Luna Isabella, Beta Lunella, former Delta Lizzy, and Gamma Juju, along with hours in front of my computer, I was able to provide Alpha William with some answers.

When I reached out to Alpha William and Alpha Koda, I wasn't surprised to learn that Alpha William had already boarded a plane late that afternoon for Alpha Noah's pack and would be landing soon.

We quickly updated them all about Luna Mira's mountain of lies.

Nonetheless, we did arrange a quick, much-needed family reunion after finding out that Luna Mira was indeed pregnant.

Unfortunately, Alpha William didn't look happy about becoming a big brother and neither did Alpha Koda about becoming a father again.

Honestly, I don't blame them for not being elated about the news.

In addition, Alpha Koda and Alpha William were not happy to find out that Luna Mira lied about another thing. They asked me to continue looking into it. They needed to know who the mystery man was, and they wanted to speak with the ex - Bryon.

I promised to stay plugged in and locate both men.

After that, the ladies returned their attention to the pups and the much anticipated D.C. Zoo trip.

That night, Alpha Koda and Luna Mira jumped on the next flight to Baltimore to visit her family and then to Georgia to make amends before heading to North Carolina to finally see her daughter and nieces.
