"Dad....what the hell is going on around here? What happened to me? I don't feel right. My wolf is hurt and upset." conveyed Alpha Rhett as he tried to sit up in the bed as his parents and Head Elder Charles Astor, along with Elder Blackstone, entered his private hospital room.



"Son, the Elder Council sent Head Elder Charles Astor along with Elder Blackstone, a good Head witch named Hazel Renee to aid our pack. Plus, Alpha William arrived late last night. They are all still in our territory. A lot has happened since you passed out last night." expressed his father, Alpha Noah, not looking forward to being the bearer of bad news.

"The witch and our pack doctor confirmed that you were placed under a love spell. Your feelings for Ivy Brooks were due to this love spell. And before you ask.... I, Alpha, commanded Ivy. At which point, Anora went to our temple to end her suffering." stated his mother as the tears fell down her face. This visit wasn't what she had hoped and prayed for in that moment.

"Wait! I don't understand how Anora could sever our mate bond without my acceptance". voiced Alpha Rhett as he mind-linked Beta Royce to report to his hospital room immediately.

"During a full moon, a mate bond that is weak can be if the bloodline holds favor with the Moon Goddess and another stronger fate mate is waiting in alignment to step in." explained Elder Blackstone to the horror of Alpha Rhett.

"If it helps, Finn still wants you. Finn doesn't blame you. Finn understands that you were bewitched and wasn't acting under your own will. However, Anora isn't interested in sharing a mate with her sister, Finn, for any reason. Secondly, all couples endanger of rejecting each other will be sent away to Love Island for a total of one year under the watchful eye and support of the Elder Council. They will be provided with counseling services and arranged "quality time". At the end of one year, if the couple decides to reject the mate bond, it will be allowed by the Elder Council." reported his mother.

" Fear not! You have 30 days to win Anora back if you want, but she has to willingly want to recant the rejection. A lot can happen in thirty days." advised his father, Alpha Noah.

" Thanks! Did Ivy really trick me?" inquired Alpha Rhett, sounding truly hurt. He thought, if nothing else, they were truly friends.

"Yes! Son! Plus, we have a bigger problem regarding Ivy. " revealed Alpha Noah.

"What, Dad?" gasped Alpha Rhett.

"She is pregnant. Four weeks along." replied Alpha Noah to his only child.

"What?" yelled Alpha Rhett, trying to get out of bed but was forced to lay back down.

"Unfortunately, due to the state of the werewolf community, the Elder Council has banned all abortions for any reason. They want you, Ivy and Finn, to go to Love Island to see if, under the watchful eye and support of the Elder Council, a peaceful co-Luna relationship can be attained. Or for Finn to at least agree to raise the unborn pup as her own. After Ivy gives birth, she will be sent away to serve a ten-year prison sentence. If forgiveness can be granted on both sides, the prison sentence could be reduced to 43,800 community service hours. The Elder Council will send the three of you away in seven days after a full recovery." admitted his father, Alpha Noah.

"What? I want to speak with Ivy, Finn and Anora for myself. And I want Alpha William to get the hell off my land. I don't want him here on my land waiting around for me to fail so he can scoop in." growled Alpha Rhett, upset that his life was a mess, and he was being forced to leave his beloved pack in order to fix his love life.

Alpha Rhett had always prided himself on being a gentleman and a good and fair leader.

"Son...he has agreed to leave after dinner with Pandora, his father, Alpha Koda, along with his new step-mother Luna Mira." voiced his mother.

"Alpha Rhett.... please know you risk Anora leaving with him. The girls like him and support their relationship already. Plus, Anora made it very clear she wasn't interested in sharing a mate with Finn. Finn wants to fix your mate bond. She is a forgiving soul, but I don't know how Finn will react to adding a baby into the mix. Nonetheless, Anora will definitely see it as the nail in your coffin. She won't want any part of this circus. Anora will see it as proof that she made the right decision to end the mate bond. I know Pandora will go with her." admitted Beta Royce as he entered the hospital room and joined the conversation.

"I need answers. Besides, I want my pup. Please bring Ivy in here and ask Finn and Anora to come speak with me privately. I have to try to get all three ladies to go to the island with me." stated Alpha Rhett, firmly not ready to give up hope yet.

"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you." voiced Beta Royce as he exited out of the room to carry out his Alpha's orders.
