The rest of the school day was eventful. Dom was on his toes trying not to look up at her while she had suddenly become the center of attention for all the boys in school. If her new look wasn't enough her sudden sense of confidence seemed to do it in for them. She seemed powerful and everyone wanted a taste for that. It didn't make the blondes that ran the school to happy though. Sure they had very popular, very handsome boys on their arms, but none of them were loyal. They liked having all the men at their feet, worshiping the ground they walked on. Serena had taken that power from them and she could feel their anger radiate off their perfect ivory flesh. Their irritation only fueled her fire. She was going to right all those that wronged her. Get revenge on all those that hurt her. It had become her new mission.
There was only one more class left of the day when the bell rang letting her free of her least favorite glass, history. She kept up her grades but it didn't mean she liked the class. Standing up, boys on her tail asking her out like they had been doing all day long, she was honestly getting bored of them. She paused at the bathroom for a moment and sighed looking at them.
"Okay, you can't follow me into the girls room boys. I will meet you in class." She slipped into the bathroom and let out a sigh. This was going to be a lot harder then she thought it would be. She was honestly just wanting to go into the music room and hide. She waited a few minutes for the teachers to make the boys leave before walking over to the sink and looking at herself. Her red hair still in perfect place and her make up almost untouched. Still she wasn't sure what they say in her. She was still just Serena Evens, music geek. A music geek in sexy clothes that looked like she belonged in a strip club. Sighing softly she hung her head but a voice in the back of her mind told her not to loose confidence in herself. She had a job to do. Making them all pay.
"Well, well, if it isn't the goth reject." She heard the voice of Dom's girlfriend come from behind her. Looking up in the mirror Serena's eyes narrowed and a low growl erupted deep inside her chest.
"Oh, you're talking to me?" Serena asked turning around to face her with hands on her hips. The blonde stood with her arms over her chest with a disgusted look on her face, but Serena just laughed. "Didn't learn your lesson earlier?"
"That little stunt in the lunchroom, please. You just got the upper hand on me that time, I am still the number one biatch in this school." She laughed off what happened earlier but Serena could tell that she was till shaking. She was afraid of her and with good reason to.
"Let me make this very clear to you, blondie..." Serena closed their distance and ran her hands through her hair down to her shoulders. Leaning into her ear she whispered softly, "I am the queen now. So step aside before you get stepped on. I don't wanna hurt you but I will if you make me." The girl froze for a moment before shoving her away. Serena growled darkly, grabbed her arm and twisted it hard until it nearly broke. The girl was screaming in agony but Serena didn't really care. But it was the look in her eye when she looked at Serena.
"Okay, you win please let me go!" She caved with fear in her eyes and when Serena let her go she and the girl group ran from the bathroom screaming. Serena looked up confused but shrugged it off. Turning around to face the mirror and grab her bag she glanced up shocking herself. Her eyes were a soft yellow, almost animistic even. She did a double check but when she looked back they were normal. It was ten minutes into class and she had hidden long enough to sneak into the music room unnoticed. Whatever that glare was it had to be the light or something. Shrugging that off as well she walked out of the bathroom, she suddenly hit something hard,
"Hey! Watch..." A man's voice filled her ears making her growl as she fell onto the ground against the bathroom door. "Wow, I am sorry. Totally my fault. Here let me help you up." A hand stretched out, but she was annoyed and swatted it away.
"Thanks, no thanks. I don't need help standing up. Just be careful. Look where you are going." She stood up on her own dusting her clothes off before looking up. Instantly she was flushed of color staring at a dark haired stranger with green eyes. He had a scar across his right eye, but that was the only blemish she could find at the moment. He was in dark jeans, a white t and a leather jacket with some biker boots and a wolf pendent hung from his neck.
"Yeah, I am sorry about that. I am Sebastian Wolmack. I just started here today. And you are?" She watched him reach behind his head scratching his head as he spoke and made her stumble over her words for a moment.
"Um, Serena. Serena Evens. Though most of us call me Little Red because of my old best friend Dominic. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said shyly looking down at her feet holding onto her bag tightly. Almost like she was her old self for a moment. He laughed softly, grabbed her hand and lifted it to kiss the back of his palm.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, little red, so where were you headed?" He asked her making her jump and remember what she was doing.
"Oh, um, the music hall. I have a song I wanna finish." Serena said with a smile and turned to face the direction of the music hall. "See you later?"
"What do you say I join you?" Sebastian asked her making her stop dead in her tracks. She looked behind her at him and smiled softly.
"Sure why not....could be fun." She replied with a stutter. No one had ever wanted to listen to her music, this was a change. He smiled and walked up beside her.
"Lead the way, beautiful." His words made her smile and shutter at the same time. Looking away she led him down the hall to the music room where her recording stuff was still waiting for her....
