54 Ken Lazaro laughed like he never did before. Half an hour ago they had landed. Now they were waiting to be transported to their final destination; a former army camp hidden in the jungle of Panama. A lily pad it was called. Looking at the bunch of crippled people, spread through the hall of the army landing strip Ken said: “Jesus, it looks like we’re on tour with a nursery home!” “What are we waiting for?” Jon Budweiser asked Casey. “Why do you ask me? I’m not your tour leader.” “You were the one taking charge all the time,” Budweiser defended himself. Casey looked at the few men in the hallway. The only men left of their squad. “What are you thinking Casey?” Michael Visione asked. “How the hell did we end up like this Mike? Look at us. A bunch of pathetic patients,” he answered.
