"Gambling, a time traveler's main source of income", Leap said.
Leap and Umami walk down the streets, looking for where to gamble. Umami looked at everything, at everything as they passed by. They then entered a sports center, there were screens all around. Each showed different sports. Leap didn't have any money to bet with. He told people around the outcome of the games at first. When everything happened the way he said, people came to him rushing.
He asked then to pay an amount before he have the any prediction.
They did that for awhile and made a lot of money. They used the money to rent apartment. He left Umami in the room with the television and went out.
Umami kept changing the channels, he was fascinated by everything in the room.
Leap went down fox lane and turn right at butterfly street. He went down that street for a while and hid behind a car. He watched a group of girl chatting and giggling. About twenty minutes later, two of the other girls waved the third girl and left.
She went back inside the dinner, sat down and ordered a coconut cream pie.
Leap walked into the dinner, the girl look at the door immediately the bell rung. He looked at her.
She was a red hair girl, with big green eyes and chiseled nose with thin lips.
He ordered a cup of coffee and adjacent her.
Another twenty minutes later a boy walked in, not a lot older than her.
He sat down, they both talked for a while and the girl started crying.
Leap got up and left and the boy followed shortly. As Leap was going back to the apartment, he realized he left his baseball cap. He went back to go get it, when he opened the door it hit the girl.
"Sorry, are you okay?", Leap removed the girls hand off her forehead. It was a little swollen.
"You shouldn't be, it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention.", the girl said as he caressed her forehead.
He sat her down in a chair and asked a waiter for ice.
He wrapped the ice in a napkin and placed it on her forehead.
"Thanks, you didn't have to do this.", the girl said to Leap.
" Don't mention, I might have ruined your beautiful face forever.", Leap replied.
" I'm Lauren, by the way", she said smiling.
" I'm Law…Leap", Leap replied.
"Nice to meet you Law Leap", Lauren said.
They both laughed.
