Test Subject

Umami was sitting in the room, he had said his curiosity. He didn't have anything to do, he was feeling bored. Then came a game advert, it caught his attention. He wanted to know more.

"What is the box, which take you to places?"

Soon, Leap walked in with a smile on his face. He dropped a bag of food, he got from the dinner on the table. Umami could already smell the food. He walked to the table and sniffed the bag.

"Yes it's food, you can eat it", Leap said to Umami.

Umami picked up the bag with the food, and took a big chunk of the plastic bag and started chewing.

"You have to take the food out first", Leap said taking the plastic bag from him.

He took out a burger and waved it at Umami. He quickly spat out the piece of bag he was chewing. He took the burger from Leap and started eating.

"Okay, now to business, I think I know what your power is reanimation with a twist. You can come back to life but also to the exact place before you died.", Leap said excitedly.

He stopped pacing after the explanation. He took a knife and walked over to Umami.

"Now to test my theory" Leap said taking Umamis right hand.

Umami was now eating fries, he picked up as much as he could and stuffed his mouth. When Leap took his right hand he continued with only his left.

Leap revealed the knife he was hiding behind him and cut his wrist. Umami quickly pulled his had, the wound was already healing.

Leap was happy his test was successful.

"Not an elaborate experiment, but if he can heal, he should definitely be able to reanimate ", Leap tried to convince himself he was on the right path.

"Now to our next test, this one will be a little difficult.", Leap said.

Umami was angry Leap cut him. He expected him to have treated him differently. He was treating him like he was just a thing. When Leap got close to him he stepped back.

"It's not going to hurt I promise.", Leap said assuring him.

He quickly opened the door and ran out of there.
