13. Alter

Love. We all heard about it. Most have seen it. Few have tasted it.

Starting from an early age we are thought what love is. How to respect and protect your other half. How safe and alive it makes you feel.

But no one told us what to do when we find it. How to react.What to say.When to take action.

An elemental Alter is their other half. Their fated companion. Someone who will cherish them!Someone ready to give up everything for them.

Our parents are teaching us about Alters from the moment we can make our first steps.

The bond between Alters is sacred.

We are born able to control one element. When you meet your Alter, your element's power grows. You can feel that the moment your eyes meet theirs. You became stronger. You reach a new level. If you and your Alter have different elements, then a ceremony will be held for you. That means you will lose your element and the element that your Alter controls will be transferred to you. This work only on Alters.Also

if you are a royal you discover your second element, which usually is the element that your Alter controls. But this is not a rule. Not all royals have two elements. Why? I can't tell..No one can so far.

Blaze pov

Breakfast went pretty well! King Aaron and his family seem to be good people.

I also found out that they have a daughter that I didn't know existed. She doesn't feel well so she didn't join us. A bit rude I would say.

But Queen Erin explained to me that she feels so bad that she can't get off of the bed.

When we finish eating we went to the conference room, as King Aaron name it. It was a large room with a big round table in the middle and around twenty seats. We all sit down waiting for the Air-King.

A knock on the door interrupted our small talk.

"Your Majesty! King Zefir and Prince Farys are here!"Egon said.

"Good! Let them in! " "And... Egon ?" King Aaron asked narrowing his eyes "where is Willow? "

"Oh! I'm sorry My King! She's on her way! You know how she doesn't want to leave Evolet side. "he said scratching his head.

"Yeah...That I know! Not to worry, my friend! "

'Who is Willow? And more importantly who is Evolet? Her name alone gives goosebumps '

"King Zefir! Faris! Welcome! Aaron said.

"Aaron! Stop using my title, son! we are family! "

"Please meet King Blaze and his Head Warrior, Titus!

"Finally I'm able to meet King Uri and Queen Cyra son! It's a pleasure to meet you, son! You look so much like him. Your father! I'm sure they're proud of you! "Zefir said

"The pleasure is mine, Your Majesty! Thank you all for accepting to meet us!" I said while we all shaking hands.

When we were about to sit down, the door burst open. A blonde curly-haired woman came in! She was quite short, with a toned body and tan skin. Pretty hot.

"Willow! you're late!"Aaron said chuckling.

"Forgive me, Your Majesty! it won't happen again!" she said looking down.

"How is Evolet? I can't wait to meet her!"King Zefir asked.

"She is better I would say! Thank you, Your Majesty!" Her eyes lit up at the mention of her friend.

"Willow meet King Blaze and his Head Warrior, Titus! "

"King Blaze, this is one of my Head Warriors, Willow !"

'One? Were there more?'

"Nice to meet you, King Blaze! I heard a lot about you and your Kingdom! "

"Nice to meet you too, Willow! I hope it wasn't only the bad stuff! "I said and she smiled.

Then she turns her head in Titus direction! As she opens her mouth to greet him, nothing came out! She froze. Her eyes widening and her hands shaking. In an instant, Titus was on his feet and in front of her. His heart beating so fast that I'm sure even the guards from the other side of the door could hear it.

We all knew what that meant!

They were Alters!

King Zefir clasped his hands together. "We should let them alone! Everyone knows how dangerous can be to lose your element control over the Alter bond! The meeting will be postponed! Meanwhile, we and King Blaze will remain here, in this palace. If that's fine with you, King Blaze? "

"Of course! "Was all I could say.

I can't believe Titus has found his Alter. I'm wondering what it feels like? The bonding between Alters. The power of the bond, the desire for the other! What will be like to hear, see and feel just one person? The one made for you.

I don't want to meet my Alter. But what if I will. Will I be strong enough to resist the bond?

I know resisting the bond is the greatest crime against the Gods. But where were the Gods when the war started? Where were they when my parents were killed in front of me? Were?

"King Blaze! I will show you to your room! So you can take a shower and rest! You'll be staying in the West Wing" Oren said

"Thank you! And please call me, Blaze! I can tell there's no big difference between our ages! "

"No it's not Blaze! "he said. "I wish I could see The Fire Kingdom! My father told us stories about how beautiful your cities are!"

"My door is the last at the end of the hallway if you need something! Your Head Warrior will stay in the room on your left! And the other were already given rooms. So nothing to worry about.

Now rest! Dinner is at 7. Be ready, I'll come to take you, mom doesn't like when we are late! "he said laughing.

I took a shower and fall on the bed. Now I can feel how tired I am!

I hope we will get over this soon. I can't stay away from my Kingdom too long.

Sleep came fast. And so came dreams. Dreams about purple eyes.
