12. Trip to Earth

Blaze pov.
It's been a week since the day Titus wake up. A week since I sent the letters to the Air and Earth Kingdoms. And still no answer.
What took them so long? If they'll at least will let me know that they won't help us, I could come up with a new plan. But they didn't refuse us. So hope is still alive in my heart.
"Your Majesty?" I heard from the other side of the door after a soft knock.
"Yes! Come in!"
As soon as the person stepped into my office, recognition hits me.
It was him..the boy, the messager. Aro!
"Aro!" I said, my face brighter. I knew he brings answers. Answers to my letters. It was a messager job.
Our old messager was killed in the attack of The Sun City. So as Enya seemed to trust this boy so much, I decided to give him the job. And he is good at it.
"My King! I bring news from the two Kingdoms! "he said passing me the letters from his bag.
"Thank you, Aro! You can leave now! And please let my sister and Titus know that I'm waiting for them!"
"Yes, My King! I will!"
Without wasting one more second I open the first letter.
It was from the Earth Kingdom.
To His Majesty, King Blaze Cyrus,
I hope my letter finds you well. As you may know, your parents were good friends of mine. Good people, I may add. I'm sure they will be proud of you!
About your request..an alliance will be an option. A good one for you.But what about my people? What about my Kingdom? I tried so hard to stay out of this war till now. Why would I accept your request?
I'm not refusing you, King Blaze! Because I know now that the war will hit us sooner than later.
So I will kindly ask you to come to my palace to discuss this matter.

"Blaze! What were they saying? "come Enya's hurried voice.
"The Earth King invited us to his kingdom. He didn't give me a concrete answer.
"What about the other? "This time was Titus asking.
"I didn't have time to read the other letter. I will do it now if you'll keep your mouth shut for ten seconds !" I said giving them a scolding look.
I open the second letter and read it aloud.
King Blaze Cyrus,
I heard about The Sun City. I'm sorry about your loss.
I will like to say I'm going to help you, but it won't be my decision to make at the time we'll gonna met.
My son's, Farys, coronation will take place in 3 weeks from today. I know it must seem weird we are not traditionally doing this, in the Spring, but I'm getting old and this war might affect us sooner than I hoped. The Kingdom needed a strong King.
This being said, I will invite you to my son's coronation, on the 1st of November.
I have also spoken to King Aaron, and I will come there to the meeting that will be held a week from today!
King Zefir Zaner!
"Coronation? I didn't even know King Zefir had a son!"Enya said. "I haven't been to a coronation like in forever! "
"This is all you've got from this letter? "Titus added shaking his head. Enya shrugged her shoulders and sit down on the black leather couch.
"So guys! We need to start planning this trip carefully! "
"Yes! Enya is right! we can leave the Kingdom vulnerable! If King Kai will find out he might attack our capital! "
"No worries! I already planned everything! "I said slumping in my chair.
"So what's the plan?"
"Enya, you will stay here! You'll take care of the Kingdom while I'm away! You did it before, you more than sure can do it once more!" I said looking into my sister's eyes. "I know you wanted to go with me! But not this time! I need you to stay. Please?"
"Of course! The mighty Titus will be first once again! "she said pouting.
"I will! I will stay and take care of the Kingdom! If that bastard will dare come back I'll make him regret! "she said determination clear on her face.
"Titus! You'll come with me! You're my Head Warrior. I need you there in case things go south! "
Titus nodded, winking in Enya's direction. She rolled her eyes, then get up from the couch.
"Now that we establish who will do what, we should go eat something! I'm starving already! "
"You always do, Enya!"Titus said and we all laughed.
The week went by so fast. We were preparing to leave for The Earth Kingdom.
"Blaze! Please be careful! "Enya said hugging me. I hugged her back.
"I will! Promise! You take care sister! Keep your eyes and ears open at all times! "I said kissing her cheek.
"Titus bring him back! And watch your back! "
We get on the horses and start riding to The Earth Kingdom. We should be there by the time sun is up.
It was 5 am when we got to their borders. Few Warriors were waiting for us.
"Your Majesty! I'm Egon! I will show you and your warriors to the palace. The King is waiting." He said with a bow.
"Thank you, Egon! "
After a 30 minutes ride, we were finally at the palace. A man who looked in his 40 was waiting at the palace door next to a younger man, maybe the same age as me.
"My King! "Egon says when we were close enough.
"Egon! Thank you! You may leave us now! Take the other warriors with you! Me and King Blaze will have breakfast now! I'm sure they're starving.
"Yes My King! "
"King Blaze! You might remember me. I'm Aaron Wood, King of The Earth Kingdom, and this is my son, Prince Oren!"
"It's an honour, Your Majesty! "I said."Thank you for having us! This is my Head Warrior, Titus! "
They both nodded their head and gesture for us to follow them.
We were finally going to find out if they will help us or not!
"Mira! Go tell Egon to announce to the Head Warrior that the meeting starts in an hour time! King Zefir should be here by then!"King Aaron said to a blonde woman.
"Yes, Your Majesty! "she said glancing at me for a second. Then she left.
