Lisa’s POV
“Mate!” My wolf howled loudly, and just then, the door to the room was pushed open, and the person who stepped in took my breath away.
There he stood.
Alpha Nathan.
Tall, broad-shouldered, and as commanding as I remembered. His dark hair fell slightly over his forehead, and his piercing green eyes swept over the room, landing on Cain first, then shifting to me.
My eyes widened as our gazes interlocked. I could see the stunned look on his face as he stared back at me.
“Mate!” My wolf howled louder, announcing Nathan as my mate while I remained speechless and emotionless. I couldn’t believe it. What trick was the Moon Goddess playing? How could I be mated to him? Alpha Nathan, why?
“Lisa… it’s you… you are my mate!” Alpha Nathan whispered, his voice filled with disbelief.
