Lisa's POV
It had been hours, and Nathan hadn’t returned to his room. I had been served a meal by the female servant, but there was no sign of him. Despite how much I wanted to ignore it, I couldn’t. Somehow, I was worried about him, and so was my wolf. Unable to endure it any longer, I decided to check up on him.
Leaving his room, I took a deep breath and caught a whiff of his scent. I followed the trail and realized he was in his study. But as I got to the door, I heard voices inside. I recognized one voice as Alpha Nathan’s and another as James’s, but the two other male voices were unfamiliar. Leaning closer, I strained to hear, but their words were muffled.
